The unwinder includes an unwinding station, in which to arrange a reel to be unwound. In the unwinding station there is arranged a series of guide rollers, defining a feed path of the web material. There are also provided: a cutting member adapted to cut a web material coming from an exhausted reel; and splicing members to splice a trailing edge of a first web material coming from an exhausted reel to a leading edge of a second web material coming from a new reel. A pick-up device is configured to pick up the leading edge of the second web material from a temporary retaining element, carried by a transfer unit to transfer reels to the unwinding station.

Device for replacing a reel in an unwinder and related method

The rewinding machine includes a first winding cradle formed between a first winding roller, a second winding roller and a third winding roller. The first winding roller and the second winding roller define a nip through which there pass the winding cores with the web material being wound around them. The rewinding machine also includes a feed path of the winding cores that pass between the first winding roller and the third winding roller. A second winding cradle is formed between the first winding roller, the second winding roller and a fourth winding roller. The rewinding machine also includes a rolling surface extending around the first winding roller and defining a feed channel of the winding cores.

Rewinding machine and method of producing logs of web material

The rewinding machine includes a first winding cradle, formed between a first winding roller, a second winding roller and a third winding roller, and a second winding cradle formed between the first winding roller, the second winding roller and a fourth winding roller. The first winding roller and the second winding roller define a nip through which nip the winding cores, around which the web material is found, pass and the web material is fed towards a roll being formed in the second winding cradle. A severing member is furthermore provided, acting on the web material between a winding core and the nip, to sever the web material thus generating a tail edge of a completed roll and a leading edge of a new roll to be wound.

Rewinding machine and method for producing rolls of web material

The rewinding machine includes a first winding cradle, formed between a first winding roller, a second winding roller and a third winding roller and a second winding cradle formed between the first winding roller, the second winding roller and a fourth winding roller. The first winding roller and the second winding roller define a nip through which nip the winding cores, around which the web material is found, pass and the web material is fed towards a roll being formed in the second winding cradle. A severing member is furthermore provided, acting on the web material between a winding core and the nip, to sever the web material thus generating a tail edge of a completed roll and a leading edge of a new roll to be wound.

A rewinding machine is described with a winding cradle defined by three rollers and including a fourth winding roller defining with the first winding roller a cradle in which the web material is pushed by a winding core to the beginning of each winding cycle, to cause severing of the web material without the need for controlled mechanical parts.

Rewinding machine and method for the production of rolls of web material

A reel unwinder including a first unwinding position, in which a first reel is positioned; a second unwinding position, to which the first reel is transferred when it is replaced with a second reel; a stand-by position, in which the second reel is kept in stand-by; a first unwinding member adapted to start rotation of the second reel when the first reel is replaced with the second reel. Moreover, the unwinder includes a second unwinding member, with at least one endless flexible element. The endless flexible element extends from the first unwinding position to the second unwinding position, and is adapted to maintain the first reel in contact with the second unwinding member and in rotation by the second unwinding member in the first unwinding position, in the second unwinding position and while it is being transferred from the first unwinding position to the second unwinding position.

Reel unwinder and unwinding method

A rewinding machine is described with a winding cradle defined by three rollers and including a fourth winding roller, defining with the first winding roller a cradle in which the web material is pushed by a winding core to the beginning of each winding cycle, to cause severing of the web material without the need for controlled mechanical parts.

The rewinding machine includes a first winding roller, around which the web material is guided, and defining at least in part a winding cradle; a support surface of the winding cores arranged to receive a winding core and to convey the core toward the winding cradle, the support surface defining with the first winding roller a feed channel of winding cores, a severing member of the web material, which can be inserted in the channel to sever the web material, the severing member interacting with the web material to cause severing thereof; a motor for controlling the severing member, the motor controlling the severing member modifying the speed of the severing member when it is positioned inside the channel.

The rewinding machine includes: a winding unit; a feed path of the web material; an insertion path of the winding cores; a separator device to sever the web material upon completion of winding each log. The separator device is disposed and produced to be activated by passage of a winding core.

Method and device for producing logs of web material with a mechanism for interrupting the web material activated by passage of the winding cores

A rewinding machine is described including: a path for feeding the web material towards a winding system; interruption members to interrupt the web material at the end of winding of a log; a core insertion channel, defined by a rolling surface and a movable member; a core feeder to insert winding cores in succession in the channel; an electrostatic device positioned along the channel to electrostatically charge the winding cores and/or the web material thus causing, due to the electrostatic charges, reciprocal adhesion of the core and initial free edge of the web material obtained by interruption of the material at the end of winding of each log.

Method and machine for the production of logs of wound web material

The unwinding device to unwind reels of web material includes: unwinding members to simultaneously unwind a first reel and a second reel; a splicing device to join together a first web material coming from the first reel and a second web material coming from the second reel; at least one accumulation member to accumulate the web material delivered from the second reel before splicing with the web material delivered from the first reel; a first path and a second path for the web material delivered simultaneously from the first and from the second reel towards a machine downstream.

Multifunction unwinding device

The unwinder device comprises: unwinding members for simultaneously unwinding a first reel (B) and a second reel (B), a splicing device () for splicing together a first web-like material (N) coming from said first reel (B) and a second web-like material (N) coming from said second reel (B), an accumulator member () for accumulating web-like material (N) supplied from said second reel (B) before splicing to the web-like material (N) supplied from said first reel (B).

Unwinder device for reels of web-like material with temporary accumulator members for the material unwound in the phase of reel substitution and relative method

The device comprises: supports (A,A;B,B) to support at least a reel (B) in an unwinding position; at least a peripheral drive mechanism which acts on the cylindrical surface of the reel being unwound and transmits peripherally to said reel a torque to draw it in rotation; and at least a center drive mechanism () which transmits centrally to said reel an auxiliary torque to draw it in rotation together with the torque transmitted by the peripheral drive mechanism.

Unwinding device for reels of web material with dual drive mechanism and relative unwinding method

The unwinder device includes an unwinding station (), with unwinding members for unwinding reels and a splicing device () for splicing together web-like materials (Nand N) coming from a first reel (B) and from a second reel (B). At least two supports () are arranged in the unwinding station for the respective reels of web-like material, associated with respective unwinding members (). The supports are constructed and arranged to simultaneously support two reels being unwound, during at least a phase of the unwinding, and each of said supports is able and constructed to load a new reel in an engagement position, support it during the unwinding and unload it in a release position.

Automatic and continuous unwinder device for supplying web-like material from reels

A method for producing logs (L, L) of web material (N) wound around tubular cores wherein the tubular core (A-A) is equipped with glue to secure the initial end of the web material and allow winding. Part of the glue applied to the tubular core is transferred to the web material (N) before it is severed upon termination of winding the log, to seal the final free end of the formed log.
