The invention relates to a new process which allows the preparation of TS-1 zeolites in a pure phase and with a crystallinity higher than 95%, operating at reduced reaction volumes, and obtaining high productivities and extremely high crystallization yields. The particular crystalline form of the TS-1 zeolite thus prepared, is also described.

The present invention relates to new organic-inorganic hybrid silicates and metal-silicates called ECS, characterized by an X-ray powder diffraction pattern with reflections exclusively at angular values higher than 4.0&#xb0; of 2&#x3b8;, preferably at angular values higher than 4.7&#xb0;, and an ordered structure containing structural units having formula (a) wherein R is an organic group: Formula (a) and possibly containing one or more elements T selected from groups III B, IV B, V B and transition metals, with a Si/(Si +T) molar ratio in said structure higher than 0.3 and lower than or equal to 1, wherein Si is the silicon contained in the structural unit (a). A process is also described, starting from disilanes, for the preparation of these materials, which does not include the use of templates or surfactants. These materials can be used as molecular sieves, adsorbents, in the field of catalysis, in the field of electronics, in the field of sensors, in the field of nanotechnologies.

Amorphous porous solid of an acidic nature, with a controlled pore size, essentially consisting of a mixed oxide of silicon, aluminum and phosphorous, having a surface area of at least 200 m/g, which can be used as a catalyst or active carrier of a catalyst for various industrial processes, such as, for example, alkylation, isomerization, hydro-dehydrogenation processes, with an improved activity and selectivity with respect to the traditional amorphous silica-alumina gels.

Catalytically active amorphous porous solid and process for its preparation

The present invention regards a catalytic composition comprising gallium, at least one element chosen in the group of the lanthanides, and a zeolite belonging to the MFI, MEL or MFI/MEL families, the crystal lattice of which is made up of silicon oxide and at least one metal oxide chosen from among aluminum oxide, boron oxide and gallium oxide. Preferably, in the catalytic compositions of the present invention a zeolite is used belonging to the MFI family characterized by crystallites which for at least 90% have diameters smaller than 500 &#x212b; and which can form agglomerates of submicron dimensions characterized by possessing at least 30% of the extrazeolitic porosity in the region of the mesopores. The catalytic compositions of the present invention can, in addition, contain rhenium. These catalytic compositions are useful in processes of aromatization of hydrocarbons containing from 3 to 6 carbon atoms, preferably, hydrocarbon mixtures containing olefins.

Aromatic hydrocarbon compounds are produced by a process of contacting one or more aliphatic hydrocarbons containing from 3 to 6 carbon atoms with a catalytic composition comprising (i) gallium, (ii) at least one lanthanide element, and (iii) a zeolite selected from the group consisting of the MIF family of zeolites, the crystal lattice of which consists of silicon oxide and aluminum oxide in a molar ratio of silicon oxide to aluminum oxide which is greater than 20 and less than 500, and is comprised of crystallites, at least 90% of which have diameters smaller than 500 &#x212b;.

The present invention relates to a mesoporous gel comprising an alumina matrix in which one or more oxides selected from silica, boron oxide, phosphorus oxide, oxides of metals of groups VIII and VIB, may be uniformly dispersed. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of this gel and its uses as carrier, as catalyst for acid-catalyzed reactions and as hydrotreating catalyst.
