An apparatus, method and computer program product for: performing channel availability monitoring on an operating channel for transmitting uplink control information for transmitting a data packet, in response to determining that the operating channel is available for transmitting the uplink control information, determining delay information relating to the channel availability monitoring, and transmitting the uplink control information and the delay information to the radio access network.

There is provided a method, computer program, and apparatus for causing a network access node to perform: calculating a first offset value based on first acknowledgment and negative acknowledgement information for signals received during subband full duplex, SBFD, slots; calculating a second offset value based on second acknowledgement and negative acknowledgment information for signals received during uplink-only slots or during downlink-only slots; and using the first and second offset values to determine respective first and second modulation and coding schemes, MCS, to be used for transmissions made in a subband full duplex, SBFD, slots and either uplink-only slots or downlink-only slots.

Method, apparatus and computer program

A transmitter is configured to set a counter to a starting value, sense whether a channel is busy or idle and to update the counter value during sensing. When there is data to be transmitted, the transmitter is configured to determine, based on at least the counter value at a transmit opportunity and a duration the channel has been sensed idle before the transmit opportunity, whether to transmit the data or to continue the sensing the channel to a next transmit opportunity without resetting the counter value to the starting value.

Channel access procedure

Techniques are provided for facilitating channel estimation to mitigate cross-link interference between a base station in a first cell and at least one neighbor base station. In the context of a method performed by the base station, an indication for assistance information to support channel estimation is provided from the base station to at least one neighbor base station. The method also includes receiving assistance information from at least one neighbor base station. The method further includes causing a time-frequency muting pattern to be signaled to at least one user equipment in a first cell. The method also includes estimating an interference covariance matrix from an interfering link of the at least one neighbor base station based at least in part on the assistance information and estimating the desired signal based on the interference covariance matrix. Corresponding method, apparatus and computer-readable storage mediums are also provided for a base station.

Methods and apparatus for performing channel estimation on flexible duplexing slots based on additional assistance information signals from at least one neighbor base station

There are provided measures for handling of paging messages in communication endpoint to network relaying scenarios. Such measures exemplarily comprise, at a relay terminal connected to a mobile access entity of a cellular network systems, selecting, for a terminal to be relayed, a sidelink communication group of a set of configured sidelink communication groups, monitoring network-served paging indicator resources corresponding to said terminal to be relayed for a network-served paging related identifier indicative of transmission of a network-served paging message and information on network-served paging message resources for said transmission of said network-served paging message, transmitting, if said network-served paging related identifier indicative of transmission of said network-served paging message is detected in said network-served paging indicator resources corresponding to said terminal to be relayed and information indicative of paging of said terminal to be relayed is identified in said network-served paging message transmitted in said network-sewed paging message resources as a result of said monitoring, in inter-terminal paging indicator resources configured for said sidelink communication group and next to said network-served paging message resources including said information indicative of paging of said terminal to be relayed, an inter-terminal paging related identifier indicative of transmission of an inter-terminal paging message and information on inter-terminal paging message resources for said transmission of an said inter-terminal paging message, and transmitting said inter-terminal paging message in said inter-terminal paging message resources for said transmission of said inter-terminal paging message.

Handling of paging messages in communication endpoint to network relaying scenarios

An apparatus, provided in use in a first device comprises at least one processor and at least one memory including a computer program code, the at least one memory and computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to: receive first information about a context provided by a controller, said first information being received from a base station; and cause the first device to transmit one or more ping messages to one or more second devices, said one or more ping messages comprising information about said context which causes one or more second devices to reply to the controller.
