A cardiovascular device (), adapted to be fitted into a cardiac ventricular cavity () having a volume with blood flowing therethrough, which is bounded by walls () and has a larger longitudinal dimension (D) and a smaller transverse dimension (D). The device includes a diaphragm () that can be disposed in the ventricular cavity () substantially transverse to the larger longitudinal dimension (D), in such an arrangement as to reduce ventricular volume, the diaphragm () having a peripheral edge () which can be sealingly engaged with the ventricle walls () and being adapted to be alternately driven between an active blood pushing displacement and an inactive return displacement.

Transmitter for sensing a physical variable relative to a process fluid of an industrial plant, characterized in that it comprises at least a hollow main body for housing a sensor, and a body for direct or indirect interface with a process fluid of which a physical variable requires to be sensed, said interface body being connected to the main body and having an integral structure shaped so that it has at least one internal housing for receiving a separator body and at least one end flange suitable to be operatively coupled, at an external surface thereof, to a fluid container, said external surface being positioned at a distance from and in communication with said internal housing by means of a connection channel.

A pressure transmitter for sensing a physical variable related to a process fluid of an industrial plant, includes: a main body, which comprises a containment enclosure and a base associated with the containment enclosure; a first connection element, which comprises: a first coupling surface, at which the first connection element is associated with the base, the first coupling surface being arranged on a first arrangement surface; and at least one first process interface surface, which is arranged on a second arrangement surface; at least one second connection element, which is associated, at a second coupling surface, with the first connection element and, at a third coupling surface, with a manifold element that is suitable to convey the process fluid; its particularity encompassing the fact that the second coupling surface can be coupled to the first process interface surface, according to one or more selectable positions, so that the third coupling surface of the second connection element lies on one or more chosen arrangement surfaces.

The cardiac valve comprises an annular body, at one end of which there are pivoted valve members, adapted to operate as a closing element, the annular body consisting of an outer ring member and an inner ring member which are mutually coupled, one of the ring members defining the pivot seats of the valve members, whereas the other ring member is adapted to delimit these seats, in order to provide a stable pivoting coupling of the valve members to the annular body.

High efficiency cardiac valve

The device comprises a container housing for enveloping, at least partially, the ventricular region of the myocardium. To the inner surface of the container housing are applied membrane means which define pumping chambers between the inner surface and the myocardial wall. A pumping fluid is fed selectively to these chambers to cause expansion of the chambers and consequent compression of the myocardial wall.

Implant device for substaining the activity of the myocardium

An artificial cardiac valve of the type comprising a plastic material ring member (1) effective to act as a valve seat, encompassed by a plastic cloth outside ring (3) effective to act as an anchoring member for the yarns tying the cardiac valve to the host tissue. The valve is provided with a shutter member (4,4a) formed by two arcuate valves (4,4a) each provided at the central zone of the edge provided for resting on the valve seat ring (1) with two thin lugs (5). The valve seat ring (1) is provided with seats (9,9') formed in the walls thereof at diametrically opposed positions, effective to freely receive the lugs (5). The valve is particularly useful as an aortic or mitral valve.
