An application and method for disinfecting HVAC systems that includes features for protecting service personnel from unintended exposure to ultraviolet radiation. The safeguards include an interlock that prevents illumination of germicidal lamps when their enclosure case is not properly attached to a duct.

Appliance for disinfection of HVAC systems

A vertically adjustable armrest that is suitable for use in connection with various types of passenger vehicles, including commercial aircraft. The armrest includes a slide mechanism for permitting easy height adjustment of the armrest and also includes a locking mechanism for securely locking the headrest in the desired elevated position. The armrest moves in a smooth vertical motion and is continuously biased toward an upraised position. Vertical adjustment of the armrest is accomplished by pushing a push button located in the upper portion of the armrest.

Lamp keying system and method

Provided are exemplary embodiments of a system and method for allowing predetermined and/or preconfigured lamp assemblies to be utilized with lamp fixtures. The exemplary embodiments may include a fixture assembly, a key configured to couple to the lamp fixture, and a lamp assembly including a base with a receiving structure, wherein the receiving structure is configured to engage the key, such that only predetermined lamp assemblies may couple to the fixture assembly.
