A venting unit for a housing has a base body to be connected fluid-tightly to a rim of a housing opening. The base body has a gas passage opening closed by a membrane that spans areally across the gas passage opening transversely to an axial direction. An actor is operatively connected to the base body and has an emergency venting spike extending axially toward the membrane. The emergency venting spike has a tip or a cutting edge arranged, in a state of rest, at a predetermined distance from a membrane surface of the membrane and can move toward the membrane when the actor is actuated so that tip or cutting edge punctures the membrane. A cover arranged at an outer side of the base body covers the gas passage opening. A fastening mechanism connects cover and base body. The actor has an actuation element for releasing the fastening mechanism.

Venting unit and housing, in particular a battery housing

A pressure equalization device for a housing has a base body and a closure element with a flow path between them being open in a normal operating state of the pressure equalization device. A flow opening in the flow path is spanned by a membrane. An emergency venting spike projects from the closure element toward the membrane. The pressure equalization device transitions after emergency venting into an emergency operating state in which the closure element gas-tightly closes the base body. A housing with such a pressure equalization device is provided. In a method for pressure equalization with such a pressure equalization device between a housing interior and an environment, gas exchange between interior and environment is performed through the membrane and the flow path between closure element and base body. During emergency venting, the membrane is destroyed by the emergency venting spike. The closure element then closes the base body.

Pressure equalization device, method for pressure equalization and housing

A battery degassing unit for a battery housing has a base body that has a gas passage opening and is to be connected fluid-tightly to a pressure compensation opening of the battery housing. A first filter covers the gas passage opening at an inner side of the base body. The first filter is a separation grid with first grid openings. A second filter is a separation grid arranged between first filter and inner side of the base body and has second grid openings. The base body has fastening regions for fastening the battery degassing unit to the battery housing. One of the first and second filters completely engages across the gas passage opening. One of the first and second filters is a corrugated filter so that a length extension in a stretched state in at least one direction is at least 1.3 times as large as in a corrugated state.

Battery degassing unit and battery housing

A degassing unit for an electronics housing is provided with a base body to be connected fluid-tightly to a rim of a pressure compensation opening of the electronics housing. The base body has at least one gas passage opening. A semipermeable membrane covers, in a normal operating state of the degassing unit, the at least one gas passage opening of the base body. The semipermeable membrane enables passage of gaseous media from an environment into the electronics housing and in reverse, but prevents passage of liquid media and/or solids. The degassing unit can be transferred into an emergency degassing state by release of at least one emergency degassing opening bypassing the semipermeable membrane for providing an emergency degassing gas path. A first monitoring device is provided for detecting whether the degassing unit is in the normal operating state and/or in the emergency degassing state.

Degassing unit, electronics housing, in particular battery housing, and motor vehicle

A degassing unit for an electronics housing has a base body with gas passage opening and is connectable fluid-tightly to a rim of a pressure compensation opening of the electronics housing. A semipermeable membrane for covering the pressure compensation opening enables passage of gaseous media from an environment into the electronics housing interior and vice versa but prevents passage of liquids and solids. A membrane support device, arranged at an interior side of the base body facing the electronics housing interior, engages across the gas passage opening and is positioned at a first distance to the semipermeable membrane. A separation lattice with lattice openings is arranged at the interior side of the base body at a second larger distance to the semipermeable membrane and completely engages across the gas passage opening. A surface area spanned by the separation lattice is larger than a cross section of the gas passage opening.

Degassing unit and electronics housing, in particular battery housing

A degassing unit to be connected fluid-tightly to a pressure compensation opening of an electronics housing has a base body with gas passage opening. A semipermeable membrane, fastened fluid-tightly to a membrane carrier, allows gaseous media to pass from an environment into the electronics housing and in reverse but prevents passage of liquid media and solids. In normal operation, the membrane covers the gas passage opening. An axial seal circumferentially extends about the gas passage opening. The membrane carrier is moveable relative to the base body and, in normal operation, is pressed by axial force seal-tightly against the axial seal. The membrane carrier, when a predetermined pressure difference between housing interior and environment is surpassed, lifts off the base body to release an emergency degassing opening surrounding the membrane. The axial seal is a lip seal and made of a material softer than a material of the membrane carrier.

A pipe component has a casing embodied as a folded bellows with folds. A tubular support body has an outer circumference and a length extension in a direction of a center line of the tubular support body. The tubular support body is embedded in the casing and supports the casing. The tubular support body has at least one stabilization element and the at least one stabilization element has segments that are axially spaced apart and at least partially extend circumferentially. The segments are connected by one or a plurality of hinges, respectively, along the length extension of the tubular support body. The hinges are arranged in the folds of the folded bellows of the casing.

Pipe component

A coupling device for connecting media-conducting lines has a one-part or multi-part first coupling section and a one-part or multi-part second coupling section. At least one locking element is fastened with at least one connecting section to the first coupling section and is provided with one or more locking arc sections extending in a circumferential direction between the first and second coupling sections. The second coupling section has a locking section extending circumferentially at least partially about a circumference of the second coupling section. At least one of the one or more locking arc sections interacts with the locking section.

Coupling device for media-conducting lines

A brake dust particle filter for a disc brake assembly with brake disc and brake caliper has a ring segment-shaped housing accommodating the brake disc in the interior. The housing has first and second axially spaced apart housing sidewalls and a housing peripheral wall extending radially outwardly in circumferential direction and arranged between the first and second housing sidewalls. A first housing part includes the first and/or second housing sidewall such that the first and/or second housing sidewall is positionable axially displaced to the brake disc. A second housing part includes at least the housing peripheral wall. First and second housing parts are connected by a pivot mechanism having a pivot axis extending parallel to an axis of rotation of the brake disc. Due to the pivot mechanism, the housing peripheral wall is pivotable relative to the first housing part while the first and/or second housing sidewall remains stationary.

Brake dust particle filter and disc brake assembly comprising a brake dust particle filter

A degassing unit for an electronics housing has a base body to be connected fluid-tightly to a rim of a pressure compensation opening of the electronics housing. The base body has a gas passage opening covered by a semipermeable membrane that enables passage of gaseous media but prevents passage of liquid and solids. A fluid-permeable protective screen with screen openings is arranged at an inner side of the base body across the gas passage opening. The base body has a thread engagement region for screw-connecting the degassing unit to the electronics housing. The protective screen has a screw through opening aligned with the thread engagement region of the base body. At the screw through opening, a thread engagement region of the protective screen is provided that fixes the protective screen by a threaded fastening element immediately relative to the electronics housing in a mounted state of the degassing unit.

Brake dust filter

A venting device for a housing, for example, a battery housing, has a gas-permeable and liquid-impermeable membrane attached to the housing so as to close off a venting opening of the housing. The membrane has a membrane section that overlaps and covers the venting opening. The membrane section has a predetermined bursting pressure. The membrane section deforms without being destroyed when pressure differences between the interior of the housing and the environment occur that are below the bursting pressure and when gas passes through the membrane section.

Venting device for a housing and method for producing same

An anti-snow module designed for installation into an air filter housing includes a support plate configured for support in the housing. A partition is provided for mounting into the interior of the housing of the air filter. A valve plate is configured to seals the housing of the air filter below a predetermined differential pressure existing between the interior of the housing of the air filter behind the valve plate and the exterior of the housing of the air filter and open when the differential pressure exceeds a predetermined differential pressure value. At least one guide rail is provided on which the valve plate is slideably supported by at least one guide sleeve provided on the valve plate.

An unfiltered air connector is connected to the housing. A clean air connector is connected to the housing The top housing part has a support grate embedded in foam material. The support grate and the foam material are configured such that bending of the top housing part in a direction of the bottom housing part is ensured when a load is applied.
