A go-bag is disclosed. The bag is designed to contain valuables and important documents, and protect these contents during an emergency evacuation situation. The bag can waterproof and float in water. The bag can also be made of a flame resistant material. The bag can include a self-orienting feature where the bag can float in water and automatically rotate to achieve the proper orientation so that the integrated solar panel is facing upwards towards the sun.

A vehicle collision detection system includes one or more processors configured to receive data from one or more sensors coupled to a vehicle and to analyze the data to detect a collision at the vehicle. In response to the collision at the vehicle, the one or more processors are configured to provide control signals to activate one or more cameras coupled to the vehicle to obtain one or more images of an environment surrounding the vehicle.

Vehicle collision detection systems and methods

A method of providing a dynamic go-bag service to a user is described. The go-bag contains various supplies and important documents, and is configured to protect these contents during an emergency situation. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving user information from a user, including information about the user, the user's family, and the user's home or residence. Based on the received user information, the method further includes generating a customized go-bag for the user that includes contents specific for the user to use in an emergency situation. The method also includes providing the customized go-bag to the user.

The embodiments provide a system and method for maintaining real estate data in a secure manner. Access to the data for a given real estate property is restricted by using an authentication device that is physically located at the same real estate property. The authentication device may provide a rolling authentication code that can be entered by the user requesting access to the data. In another embodiment, access to the data for a given real estate property is restricted by using a real estate data unit that is physically stored on the premises. Access to the data may therefore be restricted to users who are close enough to connect with the data unit via wired or wireless communication methods. The data unit and/or authentication device may include a device housing and an installation portion. The installation portion may be configured to attach to part of a building and/or lot.

System and method for maintaining real estate data in a secure manner

A method and system of intelligently deploying protective structures along the sides of a vehicle in order to protect the vehicle from damage is disclosed. The vehicle includes two protective structures such as bumpers that are each stored in a retracted position during normal vehicle operations. The system receives data collected by sensors in the vehicle to determine whether an accident is likely. If the system determines there is a high likelihood that an accident will occur, one or both protective structures can be deployed from the sides of the vehicle to protect the body of the vehicle from damage.

A fire prevention system for a building. The fire protection system has an inlet duct having an interior end and an exterior end. An air handler is disposed at the interior end of the inlet duct to provide air from outside the building to the air handler. A flame arrester is located at the exterior end of the inlet duct to prevent burning embers from entering the inlet duct. The fire protection system also includes an interior duct system for distributing air from the air handler through the building. Distribution vents in the interior duct system allow flow of air from the interior duct system to the interior of the building to raise the pressure in the building above the outside pressure. The method includes receiving from a first global positioning system on a vehicle a first set of global positioning data indicative of a vehicle location. The method may also receive from a second global positioning system on a portable electronic device a second set of global positioning data indicative of a portable electronic device location. The method determines a residence location from the first set of global positioning data, the second set of global positioning data, or the set of location metadata. The method then associates the physical location to the address.

An emergency signaling system is disclosed. The system includes a receptacle and a painting device. The painting device is covered in a paint material and stored in the receptacle. The receptacle can be used to launch the painting device onto a surface, such as a roof, in the event that a user needs to signal a search and rescue team or anyone near their present location. The painting device, upon contact with a surface, creates a painted signal. The painted signal can have different shapes according to the shape of the painting device. The painting device can include weight members or flexible frame members to facilitate opening the painting device from a closed or folded configuration to a fully open configuration once the painting device has been launched from the receptacle.
