An arrangement for connecting a coaxial cable () to a connector, wherein the coaxial cable () comprises at least one metal braid layer () surrounding inner parts of the cable () and an outer insulating layer () surrounding said at least one metal braid layer (); the connector comprises a ferrule () to be arranged in electrical contact with said at least one metal braid layer () and means () for applying a pressure force () to the outer insulating layer () of the coaxial cable () in a position of said electrical contact; and a silicone sleeve () is arranged between said means () for applying a pressure force () and the outer insulating layer () of the coaxial cable () in a position that, when said inner parts () of the cable () are inserted within the ferrule (), said pressure force () is applied to the silicone sleeve ().

Arrangement for a coaxial cable connector

A coaxial cable connector () for connecting a coaxial cable (), wherein the connector () comprises a ferrule () arranged to be configured in electrical contact with at least one metal braid layer of the coaxial cable (), the ferrule () comprising an elongated body for the electrical contact with said at least one metal braid layer of the coaxial cable, wherein the body is plated with tin or made of zinc or zinc alloy; and a base () plated with nickel or nickel-tin or at least partly covered with a plastic.

A coaxial cable connector () for connecting a coaxial cable (), wherein the connector () comprises an elongated ferrule () arranged to be configured in electrical contact with at least one metal braid layer () of the coaxial cable (); a compression fitting () arranged around said ferrule (); and means () for applying a pressure force to the compression fitting () such that a surface () of the compression fitting () applies a force to an outer insulating layer () of the coaxial cable () surrounding said at least one metal braid layer () substantially over the whole length of said surface () of the compression fitting ().

Coaxial cable connection with a very high screening effectiveness

An electric fuse is comprised of a tubular fuse casing formed of an electrically insulating material. A first conductive component is attached to a first end of the casing and a second conductive component is attached to a second end of the casing. A first conductive path is formed through the tube between the first and second conductive components. The conductive path includes a fusible element having a first resistance. A second conductive path is formed along the exterior of the tubular fuse casing. The second conductive path is in parallel to the first conductive path and has a second resistance greater than the first resistance. The second conductive path includes an indicator component. The indicator component is comprised of first layer comprised of a colored material, and a second layer comprised of an electrically conductive material deposited onto the first layer. The second layer has a region of increased resistance. An inner cavity is located above the region of increased resistance on the second layer. A third layer comprised of a transparent, polymeric material covers the cavity and the first and second layers.
