An archery arm guard system for protecting an arm of an archer features a panel. A panel posterior edge features a concave arcuate shape. The panel is constructed from a low-friction flexible material. The system features a first aperture, a second aperture, a third aperture, and a fourth aperture. The system features a first retaining strap and a second retaining strap with a first strap first component located in the first aperture and a first strap second component located in the second aperture. A second strap first component is located in the third aperture and a second strap second component is located in the fourth aperture.

Archery arm guard system

An eye shape modification (ESM) system such as a scleral buckle featuring a band having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a first side; and a fixation zone disposed on the first side of the band. The fixation zone is adapted to accept sutures and can be sutured to a scleral surface. The ESM system may also feature a closure system for closing the two ends of the band together. The ESM system may also feature a calibrated shortening mechanism allowing a calibrated reduction in circumference and diameter.

Eye shape modification systems

A compact ultrasound needle guidance system and method of use is described. The needle guidance system has components to adjustably target a needle's destination in the plane of a two-dimensional ultrasound image before insertion of a needle into a patient. Needle movement is tracked using a position detector that provides a visual display of the needle path on the ultrasonic image.

Methods and devices for delivering radiation to a target at a posterior portion of an eye using a brachytherapy-administering device adapted to be inserted into a suprachoroidal space of the eye including a brachytherapy source and a means of advancing the brachytherapy source from a storage position to a radiation position corresponding to a position in a distal portion of the device, positioning the device appropriately such that the distal portion of the device is in close proximity to the target, exposing the target to the brachytherapy source for a predetermined length of time then removing the device and closing incisions made during a surgical procedures to reach the suprachoroidal space of the eye.

A needle guide for an ultrasound guidance system. The needle guide may be included as part of a sterile kit for an ultrasound probe. The kit includes a shell and a sheath which form a sterile cover for the ultrasound probe. The needle guide is used to guide a needle into a body using the ultrasound probe.

A sterile cover for an ultrasound guidance system. The sterile cover may be included as part of a sterile kit for an ultrasound probe. The kit includes the sterile cover and a needle guide for use with the sterile cover. The sterile cover includes a shell and a sheath connected to the shell. The shell receives the head of the probe and the needle clip. The sheath covers the remainder of the probe.

Sterile cover

A fuel processing unit can dewater and heat fuel before delivery to a filter. The unit has a housing with a settling chamber and an inlet communicating with the chamber. The housing has a filter connection adapted to connect the filter in series with the chamber. The unit also has a heater cable with a predetermined length. The heater cable extends from the chamber through the inlet and outside the housing.

Fuel processing unit

A dump truck body has a bed and side walls defining a rear opening which is closed by a tailgate and loader unit removably attached to adaptor brackets inserted into the side walls. The unit includes a U-shaped frame supporting extendable tracks which carry a vertical tailgate supported for pivotal movement to form a horizontal platform. The frame also encloses two pairs of oppositely directed hydraulic cylinders which move the tracks, and a cam mechanism is shifted into alignment to pivot the tailgate between horizontal and vertical positions in response to movement of the tracks. The entire unit is pivotally supported by the adaptor brackets to pivot from the truck body when the body is inclined for dumping or when a pair of hydraulic cylinders are actuated.

Combined tailgate and loader assembly for a dump truck

A dump truck body has a bed and side walls defining a rear opening which is closed by a tailgate and loader unit removably attached to adaptor brackets inserted into the side walls. The unit includes a U-shaped frame supporting extendable tracks which carry a vertical tailgate supported for pivotal movement to form a horizontal platform. An improved method for using a calculator tape (12) in a roll (10) and redemption coupons (16) in combination is described. The method uses a novel tape roll (10) for a calculator or cash register (20), including a dried, moisture sensitive, adhesive (13) on one side of the tape which accepts printing from the calculator or cash register and including the coupons (16) provided on the other side (17) of the tape roll opposite the adhesive (13). The coupons can be pasted in a redemption booklet (23) by moistening the adhesive.
