An apparatus determining network health comprising base stations in bidirectional communication with radios, each having an identifier and transmitting a signal including the identifier. First and second health determining devices each receive the signal during normal over-the-air operation of radio and determine if the radio is authorized and, if so, determine the identifier, time-separated signal waveforms that are compared, operating characteristics from the compared waveforms, and a current location of the radio. Each of the devices determine health of the radio based on packet sniffing, a frequency deviation, or a range of deviations by analyzing the operating characteristics. After analysis results sent to the master controller from the devices indicate that the authorized radio is healthy, the master controller determines from the analysis results that a geographically unhealthy location of the network exists within the geographic area from which the authorized healthy radio transmitted the signal.

Network diagnostic system for analyzing performance of a radio network during functional over-the-air operation

A religious message display system for displaying various illuminated and uplifting religious messages through a rear window of a vehicle is provided. The religious message display system comprises a housing having a base wall, a first side wall extending from the base wall, and a second side wall extending from the base wall opposite the first side wall. A light box is rotatably mounted between the first side wall and the second side wall of the housing. At least one religious message is mounted on the light box. An illumination source illuminates the at least one religious message. A power source activates illumination of the illumination source. The light box displays various illuminated and uplifting religious messages viewable to anyone following the vehicle or viewing the vehicle from behind.

Religious message display system

An apparatus determining network health in a network comprising base station transceivers in bidirectional communication with radios, each having an identifier and transmitting a signal including the identifier. First and second devices each receive the transmitted signal during normal over-the-air operation of the radio, measure signal parameters, and determine operating characteristics of the radio from the parameters. Each of the devices produce a responsive received signal when the first operating characteristics determined by the first device indicate a healthy first radio and the second device produces a responsive received signal when the second operating characteristics determined by the second device indicate a healthy first radio. The devices determine respective signal parameters of the respective received signals. The received signals are time aligned to insure that the devices have determined the respective signal parameters of the same transmitted signal. Network health is indicated by the first and second operating characteristics.

An apparatus for determining operating characteristics of radio-frequency (RF) transmitting devices while the devices are in normal operation transmitting over-the-air RF signals. The apparatus comprises at least one signal sensor for receiving the RF signals, each sensor responsive to the RF signals received at a plurality of antennas or received at a directional antenna, an analyzer for determining signal parameters of received RF signals and for determining operating characteristics of the transmitting devices from the signal parameters, wherein each RF signal includes an identifier of the transmitting device, the apparatus using the identifier to link operating characteristics determined from the RF signals to the transmitting device, and a graphical user interface for displaying the operating characteristics for each transmitting device.

Method and system for analyzing radio performance during over-the-air operation

An apparatus for determining network health, the network comprising a plurality of network base station transceivers in bidirectional communication with radios operating in the network, a first radio transmitting a transmitted signal. The apparatus comprises first and second devices for determining respective first and second signal parameters of respective first and second received signals, the first and second received signals responsive to the transmitted signal transmitted during normal over-the-air operation of the first radio, wherein the received signal received at the first receiver is time aligned with the received signal received at the second receiver to ensure the first and second devices determine the first and second signal parameters of the same transmitted signal and wherein the network health is responsive to the first and second signal parameters.

Network diagnostic system for analyzing the performance of a radio network during functional over-the-air operation

An apparatus for determining a health of radio-frequency transmitters each transmitting a transmitted signal during normal operation. The apparatus comprises a receiver for receiving received signals, each received signal responsive to a transmitted signal, a first element for determining signal parameters of each received signal, the signal parameters responsive to an operating condition of a transmitter, each transmitted signal and each associated received signal including an identifier of the transmitter that transmitted the transmitted signal, the apparatus using the identifier to link determined signal parameters with the transmitter that transmitted the transmitted signal and a second element for determining a health of the transmitter that transmitted the transmitted signal, the health responsive to a relationship between one or more signal parameters and a selected value or a range of selected values for each signal parameter.

Method and system for diagnosing radio performance during functional over-the-air operation

An apparatus which utilizes precut, coated fiber canvases, vertical and horizontal support elements, multiple rotatable couplings and detachable shoe-like receptacles, together with lacing rope and other miscellaneous hardware, to provide a shelter for a boat secured in a floating dock. The modular structure and unique design of the apparatus permits it to be easily and quickly erected or dismantled, on site, using only a set of Allen Wrenches. Each of the partially preassembled vertical support elements is unfolded and reenforced on the site with a lateral support member and a pair of angular truss members. Multiple numbers of these vertical support elements are then interconnected by three precut horizontal truss members and two precut horizontal roof support members to produce whatever length of dock cover is required. Finally, the top canvas, the two side canvases and the front and rear canvases are lashed to the front and rear roof members, respectively, and to the two side horizontal members, with lacing rope, using a unique pattern of lacing.

Cover for floating boat dock

A loudspeaker enclosure for housing a basic speaker and providing a conduit for channeling the sound waves emitted from the back surface of the basic speaker so that the sound waves are shifted in phase and emerge from a port in the enclosure and add to, rather than acoustically cancel, the sound waves emitted from the front surface of the basic speaker. The sound waves from the back surface of the speaker travel through the length of the conduit which is folded through several 45.degree. angles upon itself. These sound waves are directed through the conduit by striking and reflecting from a plurality of at least six reflector panels which are mounted at 45.degree. angles. In this manner, due to the nature of reflections at 45.degree. angles, each portion of a sound wave impulse travels the same distance as each other portion and the impulse emerges from the port basically intact. The enclosure has a unique shape because of the several foldings of the conduit through 45.degree. angles. This unique shape enables the enclosure to comprise significantly less volume than a comparable conventional column enclosure necessary to obtain the same degree of sound wave phase shifting. This shape also enables the listener to position one or more such enclosures in numerous attitudes and configurations according to the listener's preferences in room decor and in sound blend and coverage.

Folded column speaker enclosure

A photographic print processing system comprising a processing basket assembly and a tank unit. The basket assembly includes a basket frame structure, a pair of movable top combs, and a plurality of pairs of removable guide members. The basket frame structure comprises front and back members with handles, side combs, bottom combs and base plates. The removable guide members are positioned within the basket and facilitate inserting each of a plurality of exposed photographic sheets of material into the basket with the lights off. As the exposed sheets are placed within the basket, the guide members are withdrawn. Each basket front and back member has a raised guide portion for use in positioning the top combs so that each photographic sheet is secured on all sides within the basket frame. The basket frame further comprises a plurality of spaced apart base plates which induce fluid turbulence and control fluid direction during mild vertical agitation of the basket within the tank. The processing tank unit is shaped to provide maximum stability and comprises a solid form of lightweight material and a shell of plastic fitted over. The tank shell is a unitary structure comprising an outside portion, a funnel shaped top portion and an inner bottom forming a rectangularly shaped cavity.

Photographic print processing system

A color filter head for attachment to photographic enlargers has a universal mount adapted for ready attachment to lens mounts regardless of size and a unique system for sequential color addition and integration to produce a color corrected print. The filter head includes a manually rotatable, adjustable filter disc assembly having high-density filter segments which are relatively movable under an overlying cover disc having two opposed open quadrants. The filter assembly acts like a balanced fly wheel which is mounted beneath the enlarger lens. In normal use, the light from the lens passes through the open quadrants of the cover disc and through the portion of the filter material disposed in the open quadrants as the wheel is manually rotated during the printing step. The system thereby utilizes a method of sequential light addition and integration. Sequential periods of white and colored light are integrated to produce the desired total exposure. By proper filter disposition beneath the lens during exposure, desired color balance is obtained in the finished color print. The periphery of the cover disc has calibrations thereon whereby the desired degree of effective color density is readily and accurately achieved by mere tab movement.

Color filter head for photographic enlargers

A display frame construction employs spaced end plates having at least two contiguous curved edges to receive at least two webs or sheets carrying graphic displays. Interposed slotted spacer members which interfit with and maintain the plates in spaced generally parallel relation may be employed to receive the contiguous edges of the displays. Edge portions of the plates are also slotted along the curved edges whereby two opposed edges of a rectangular picture or other display web may be received in plate slots which follow the edge contours of the plates and the other pair of opposed edges of the display may be received in the slots of the spacer means. The plates and spacers may interlock or resilient means between the plates may be employed to maintain the frame components in a state of assembly.

Picture frame construction

The present invention is an optical aid especially applicative as a focuser for use with photographic enlargers. The structure of the device makes it possible to focus at any point on the projected image at the easel surface. The focuser can be hand held by the operator with one reference point placed on the easel surface in an area where the image is to be focused. The focuser has a mirror which reflects the light of the enlarging apparatus onto an integral viewing surface with the distance from the reference point to the center of the mirror along a reference axis being precisely the same as the distance from the center of the mirror to the center of the viewing surface along a viewing surface axis. The angle of the viewing axis relative to the mirror surface must be the same as the angle of the reference axis to the mirror surface. By maneuvering the focuser while keeping the reference point in contact with the desired focusing point on the easel surface, the distance that a light ray would travel from the enlarging lens to the focusing point is equal to the distance from the enlarging lens ot the midpoint of the mirror surface plus the distance from the midpoint of the mirror surface to the veiwing surface. The maneuvering or tilting of the focuser changes the normal height of the midpoint of the mirror with reference to the easel surface and changes the angle that the planar mirror makes with a horizontal axis. However, by maintaining the reference point generally in the center of the shadow cast by the mirror it is possible to maintain the equality in the above distance equation.
