A hitch receiver for an automotive vehicle includes a receiver tube defining an open end and a cavity therein. The hitch receiver also includes an electrical connector, having a plurality of electrical contacts on a spring-loaded face thereof, disposed within the receiver tube at an end thereof opposite the open end such that the electrical contacts are adjacent to the cavity.

A vehicle terminal holder assembly according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, an electronic latch configured to hold a closure assembly in a latched position, and a vehicle body structure. The terminal holder assembly further includes a terminal holder that can be accessed through an aperture in the vehicle body structure and moved to a disengaged position relative to the vehicle body structure through the aperture. At least one terminal is held by the terminal holder. The at least one terminal is operatively coupled to the electronic latch when the terminal holder is in the disengaged position.

An automotive fastener for insertion into a slotted aperture is provided with a head, a base with an elongated cross-section sized to fit within the slotted aperture for limiting rotation of the base therein, a first array of fins, and a second array of fins offset axially from the first array of fins. The fins in each array extend along respective peripheral regions of the base. The first region is less than half of the base perimeter and spaced apart and opposed from the second region. A automotive fastener for insertion into a slotted aperture is provided with means for connecting a component to a panel; and means for inserting the fastener into the slotted aperture, the means sized to fit and limit rotation therein. The fastener has first and second retainer means for retaining the fastener in the aperture; the second retainer means offset axially from the first means.

A splice enclosure is provided for enclosing a splice of a plurality of wires. The splice enclosure comprises first and second shells, a first conductor arrangement and a second conductor arrangement. The first and second shells are adapted to mate with each other and each include an interior channel that extends between ends of the first and second shells. The interior channels are capable of allowing the plurality of wires to pass through the splice enclosure. The first conductor arrangement is disposed in the interior channel of the first shell and is capable of supporting the plurality of wires. The second conductor arrangement is disposed in the interior channel of the second shell and is capable of applying a force on the plurality of wires positioned within the first conductor arrangement of the first shell. The second conductor arrangement clamps the plurality of wires with the first conductor arrangement.

Wire inline T tap/splice

A routed part protector for protecting cables, wires, hoses, tubing and the like having a closed slot extending to a central aperture for inserting routed parts to be maintained in the aperture forming an assembly. The assembly can be attached to a vehicle trim panel by double-sided tape or other mechanical means or inserted into a ditch in a vehicle floorboard. The protector has a trapezoidal cross section body whereby the side walls can be deformed to open the slot to permit the routed parts to pass through when assembling the protector to a wire harness. The tape or the ditch then prevents the slot from opening.
