A device to separate propellant charge modules for field weapons, each module incorporating a top and bottom, the top of one of the modules being engaged in the bottom of an adjacent module, the device incorporating a reception device for all the modules having a device to immobilize each of the modules, the immobilizing device being linked by a linking and separating device enabling a relative translation to be controlled for each of the modules with respect to its neighbors, thereby ensuring the separation of the modules.

Pressure control valve

A primer detonation device includes a slide block and a rod. The slide block is configured to slide along an axis within a housing. The housing has a rear end and a front end. The rod is configured to slide within the housing relative to the slide block. A first moving device moves the slide block rearward from a slide block percussion position to a slide block misfire position after a misfire occurs. The first moving device also moves the rod rearward to a rod misfire position. A second moving device moves the slide block forward from the slide block misfire position to a slide block pre-percussion position without moving the rod. The slide block and the rod are locked together in an armed pre-percussion position.

Primer detonation device and method

A mechanism for inserting a munition into a chamber of a weapon includes a drive device, a munition feed device, a ramming device, a locking device and a retractable stop assembly. The drive device includes a drive element that drives the mechanism through a first rotation and a second rotation about the same axis of rotation. The munition feed device transports and feeds the munition, and the device is coupled to and rotationally driven by the drive device from an initial position through the first rotation to a ramming position and through the second rotation from the ramming position to a locking position. The ramming device is connected to and disposed to rotate with the munition feed device such that the ramming device is aligned with and disposed to ram the munition into the breech chamber when the mechanism is in the ramming position. The locking device is shaped to lock the munition and is connected to and disposed to rotate with the munition feed device such that the locking device is aligned with and disposed to lock the munition within the breech chamber when the mechanism is in the locking position. The retractable stop assembly is coupled to and shaped to cooperate with the drive element and the munition feed device to stop the munition feed device after the first rotation such that the mechanism is in the ramming position.

Mechanism and method for inserting a munition

The invention relates to a breech wedge for artillery cannon, of a type that includes means for supporting a primer-cartridge magazine that is driven in translation and rotation under the control of an assembly consisting of a rack and pinion. This first pinion is mounted on a shaft supporting a second pinion, which cooperates with a second rack integral with a fork sliding on the wedge. A control lever pivots on the breech sleeve and supports a roller, which cooperates with a groove in the fork in such a way as to slide the fork on the breech wedge. A second roller cooperates with a groove in the wedge in such a way as to cause the wedge to slide on the breech sleeve.
