A gel sealing device includes a gel sealing block () which provides a sealing section () through which the elongate parts () extend. The gel sealing block () includes an upper flange () and a lower flange () with a support section () disposed therebetween. The upper and lower flanges () sandwiches, in direction of extension of the elongate parts (), a gel inner ring () supported by said support section () and a gel outer ring () covering the gel inner ring () in a radial direction extending transverse to said extension direction. The gel inner ring () and the gel outer ring () are made of a gel sealing material.

A fiber management tray () is disclosed. The fiber management tray () can have a body () including a bottom wall () with side walls () extending outwardly from the bottom wall (). The fiber management tray () can include a termination region () that has a first side () and a second side (). The termination region () includes a termination panel () that holds connectors (). The fiber management tray () can include a hinge area () for mounting said tray () to a tray tower () and a storage basket () located between the termination region () and the hinge area (). The storage basket () can include a first pocket () that communicates with the second side () of the termination region () and an opposite second pocket () that communicates with the first side () of the termination region (). The fiber management tray () can define at least one fiber routing path on each of the first and second pockets () of the storage basket (). Aspects and techniques of the present disclosure relate to a cable sealing structure comprising a cable sealing body including a gel and methods of making anisotropic behavior in cable sealing structures made with a dry silicone gel. In one aspect, various three-dimensional printing techniques are used to make a cable sealing structure that includes a gel. The cable sealing body has a construction that elastically deforms to apply an elastic spring load to the gel. The cable sealing body has a construction with anisotropic deformation characteristics that allows the cable sealing body to be less deformable in one direction than in others. The cable sealing structure can be utilized to seal fiber optic cables more uniformly while limiting the potential of leakage.

A clamp assembly includes a first clamp half-piece and a second clamp half-piece. In one example, the clamp half-pieces are identically shaped. In one example, each of the clamp half-pieces has at least one integral pin and at least one aperture. The first and second clamp half-pieces are pivotally connected to each other via a first snap-fit interface in which the integral pin of the first clamp half-piece snap-fits into the at least one aperture of the second clamp half-piece. The clamp assembly can also include a link arm connected to the first clamp half-piece via a second snap-fit interface. A lever arm can also be included that is pivotally connected to the link arm via a third snap-fit interface. The clamp assembly does not require separate link pins or other parts and only includes four components: the clamp half-pieces, the link arm, and the lever arm.

The first body () further includes a first axial face (), an opposite second axial face (), and a peripheral surface (). The seal () also includes a second body () made of a second material. The second body () is disposed on at least the peripheral surface () of the first body (). The second material is softer than the first material of the first body ().

Multi-component seal and enclosure

A self-aligning grounding stud arrangement () for a housing () includes a grounding stud () that extends from a first end () outside the housing () to a second end () inside the housing (). An anti-rotation flange () of the grounding stud () is received by an anti-rotation receiver () of the housing (). The grounding stud () includes a first attachment feature () positioned between the first end () of the grounding stud () and the anti-rotation flange () and further includes a second attachment feature () positioned between the second end () of the grounding stud () and the anti-rotation flange (). The housing () includes at least one guide () for rotationally orienting the anti-rotation flange () with the anti-rotation receiver ().

A cable sealing unit has an actuator that is sealed to inhibit the intrusion of debris from compromising the working components of the actuator. A sealant can be pressurized using an actuator that includes a handle threaded over a shaft to compress a spring. A sealing arrangement is disposed at the actuator to prevent a particulate contaminant, such as sand, from damaging the threads of the actuator. The sealing arrangement also can prevent the spring from being exposed to particulate contaminants. The sealing arrangement can include one or more sealing members disposed on the handle and/or the shaft.

The present invention relates to a gel sealing device for sealing a passage of elongate parts through an opening. Such gel sealing device is preferably arranged in a housing used in telecommunication technology. The inventive gel sealing device comprises a gel sealing block () which provides a sealing section () through which the elongate parts () extend, wherein the gel sealing block () comprises an upper flange () and a lower flange () with a support section () disposed therebetween. The upper and lower flanges () sandwiches in direction of extension of the elongate parts (), a gel inner ring () supported by said support section () and a gel outer ring () covering the gel inner ring () in a radial direction extending transverse to said extension direction. The gel inner ring () and the gel outer ring () are made of a gel sealing material, wherein the sealing section () is formed therebetween. The gel sealing block () is adapted to seal in the sealing section () a tube end of at least one tube () guiding at least one of the elongate parts.
