A TV bulb and method of manufacture are disclosed. A collector printing process is utilized for applying TV phosphor compounds with associated black background to the inner face of the TV panel. Also, an offset printing process is utilized for printing an acid resist ink on both sides of a TV aperture mask after it has been formed into an approximate spherical or cylindrical shape. Masks and panels produced in accordance with the present invention are interchangeable during bulb manufacture.

A solid fuel heating appliance in the form of a wood burning stove employs a combustor for oxidizing oxidizable species in the exhaust. A flame break is provided between the combustor and the combustion chamber of the stove to avoid impingement of flames on the combustor.

Solid fuel heating appliance and combustor apparatus therefor

Disclosed herein is an improved wood burning stove having a combustion chamber and a flue for removing exhaust from the chamber wherein the improvement comprises the addition of a catalytic converter means for oxidizing oxidizable species in the exhaust. In one embodiment, the catalytic converter means is situated in a flue immediately adjacent the combustion chamber. In another embodiment, the catalytic converter means is situated in the combustion chamber itself. In addition, the nature and structure of a catalytic converter means have been determined for marginal acceptable and optimum performance with adequate pressure drop thereacross.

An extrusion die for forming a honeycomb structure having a plurality of interconnected discharge slots provided with a plurality of relatively small sized feed holes directly communicating with intersecting portions of said discharge slots, and a plurality of relatively larger feed passageways each communicating with a plurality of said relatively small sized feed holes, with said feed holes and feed passageways extending longitudinally of said die and the flow through said die such that a portion of such flow may pass directly through such die in a linear path.
