The invention relates to a method by which a starting material for injection molding having a viscosity of between 0.50 and 0.7 dL/g is produced from a recycled post-consumer PET having a viscosity of between 0.72 and 0.86 dL/g according to ASTM D4603 and a copolymer fraction of at most approximately 3%, adding a low-viscosity PET material. In the method, the comminuted and dried PET material is melted and decontaminated to such a degree that it is suitable for applications in the food sector and the consumer goods sector.

A plastic container manufactured from a preform with a mass share of at least 80% polyester and possibly an additive from the group consisting of dyes, fillers, catalysers, additives and lubricative additives. The plastic container comprises a container neck and a container shoulder which connects with the container neck and merges into a container body closed by a container base. The container shoulder, the container base and the container body are exclusively reshaped by a 2-stage stretch blow moulding method. The present disclosure relates to an aerosol container made of plastic, the container having a neck, the opening of which is closeable in a pressure-tight manner by a valve unit that can be actuated by a pushbutton, the container being Tillable with a liquid or gaseous propellant and a liquid to be sprayed. The aerosol container can be an injection cast preform with an elongated tubular preform body. Presented and described is a method for reclaiming thermoplastic materials intended for recycling, such as, for example, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), in the form of flakes. According to the invention, in a first step, the flakes are exposed to an oxidative fluid and heat until contaminated flakes are modified such that, in a second step, they are separated from the remaining flakes as a result of this modification.
