A method for filling a plastics container, wherein an excess pressure is built up in the filled and closed container. The method includes the following method steps: filling the plastics container with a liquid, and closing the filled plastics container. In a deformation step, the container, prior to being closed, is deformed by a mechanical force such that the cross-sectional shape of the container is changed and its volume is thereby increased. In a pressure relief step, the mechanical force is removed once the container has been closed, as a result of which the volume contraction causes an excess pressure to build up in the container, and the filling height of the liquid increases.

The invention relates to a method by which a starting material for injection molding having a viscosity of between 0.50 and 0.7 dL/g is produced from a recycled post-consumer PET having a viscosity of between 0.72 and 0.86 dL/g according to ASTM D4603 and a copolymer fraction of at most approximately 3%, adding a low-viscosity PET material. The present disclosure relates to an aerosol container made of plastic, the container having a neck, the opening of which is closeable in a pressure-tight manner by a valve unit that can be actuated by a pushbutton, the container being Tillable with a liquid or gaseous propellant and a liquid to be sprayed. The aerosol container can be an injection cast preform with an elongated tubular preform body. Presented and described is a method for reclaiming thermoplastic materials intended for recycling, such as, for example, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), in the form of flakes. According to the invention, in a first step, the flakes are exposed to an oxidative fluid and heat until contaminated flakes are modified such that, in a second step, they are separated from the remaining flakes as a result of this modification.
