The nonlinearity of power amplifiers (PAs) has been a severe constraint in performance of modern wireless transceivers. This problem is even more challenging for the fifth generation (5G) cellular system since 5G signals have extremely high peak to average power ratio. Nonlinear equalizers that exploit both deep neural networks (DNNs) and Volterra series models are provided to mitigate PA nonlinear distortions. The DNN equalizer architecture consists of multiple convolutional layers. The input features are designed according to the Volterra series model of nonlinear PAs. This enables the DNN equalizer to effectively mitigate nonlinear PA distortions while avoiding over-fitting under limited training data. The non-linear equalizers demonstrate superior performance over conventional nonlinear equalization approaches.

The disclosure is a fly fishing training line wherein the training line is attached to a traditional fly fishing rod housing a fly fishing line. Each of the above is achieved without navigating the user away from the single interface page.

A method for optimizing a computer system, the method comprising the steps of receiving at least one key corresponding to at least one attribute of at least one configurable computer system; accessing an electronic key database stored in a memory that includes computer configuration information; comparing the received keys with entries in the key database; generating recommendations where the recommendations include commands selected from the group consisting of deleting, Disabling, suspending, changing process priority, and delaying the execution of the attribute corresponding to the key received from the configurable computer system; and transmitting the recommendations to the configurable computer system based upon the comparison of the received keys with entries in the key database.

System and method for optimizing and digitally correcting errors on a computer system

A resource management system includes a work plan builder module configured to build work plans for workers. The work plan builder module is configured to allow each worker to specify, for each of a plurality of different time periods, one of a plurality of different activities that the worker plans to perform during that time period. The work plans built by the work plan builder module are stored in a computer-accessible memory.

A sensor assembly that replaces a single focal plane array detector with two focal plane array detectors orientated with respect to each other such that a power splitter divides an incoming light source equally between each detector. The two detectors are selected such that the locations of poorly-operating pixels in each detector do not overlay. The output signals of each detector are then electronically or analytically combined to yield 100 percent operability. Separate switchable wavelength filter wheels having one or more different wavelength filters may be positioned between the power splitter and each of the detectors. The power splitter may be replaced by a polarization splitter. One detector can be translated perpendicular to the incoming light source relative to the second detector to compensate for new poorly-operating pixels and/or to improve the spatial resolution.

The present invention comprises a rotor blade and method of manufacture thereof. The rotor blade of the present invention incorporates a number of novel features in order to increase its reliability and strength while reducing its weight. In certain embodiments, the rotor blade of the present invention incorporates a flexural strap in place of traditional pitch bearings. In certain embodiments, the rotor blade of the present invention is manufactured using a unique fiber placement layup technique to reduce failure modes and maximize the fatigue strength of the part.

This invention consists of a wind instrument mouthpiece primarily intended for trumpet or cornet, although it could be utilized for other wind instruments as well without departing from the concept of the invention. It features an angled shank as the preferred embodiment of the invention. The mouthpiece could also be constructed with a curved shank or with an angle at the juncture of the shank and the cup of the mouthpiece as alternative embodiments. The upswept angle of the mouthpiece allows the player to maintain a horizontal bell position while tilting their head downward. This mouthpiece configuration elevates the bell of the horn while in use which benefits the student musician both acoustically and aesthetically. The professional musician would benefit from using this mouthpiece during high register play during which time the demand on the players embouchure is shifted more to the upper lip resulting in a descending bell playing position. This mouthpiece will benefit the student and professional musician by enhancing their tonal quality while improving their playing posture.

Disclosed is a mute that attaches over the bell of a wind instrument which can be used for practice or performance. The shell of this mute consists of a symmetrically shaped cylindrical plastic jar. Attached to the exterior of the mute shell is an illuminated ON-OFF switch that is connected to a 12 VDC blower fan motor and a 12 V AC adapter. The 12 VDC blower motor inlet is attached to a plastic inlet duct contained in the mute shell. The blower motor vent is attached to a plastic egress duct which exits the mute shell. The ventilation system is encompassed by acoustical foam. This mute muffles the sound of a wind instrument without altering its pitch or timbre, and without creating any additional pressure at the players lips.

A computer system, method and software product enables automatic placement and routing of datapath functions using a design methodology that preserves hiearchical and structural regularity in top down designs for datapaths. The system includes a datapath floorplanner, a datapath placer, and routing space estimator. The datapath floorplanner allows the designer to establish and maintain during floorplannning operations datapath regions that include a number of datapath functions each. The datapath floorplanner creates the datapath regions from a netlist specifying logic cell instances and connectivity information, and from a plurality of tile files. A tile file is a structured description of a datapath function, describing the relative vertical and horizontal placement of all logic cell instances within the datapath function. There is one tile file for each unique datapath function. The datapath function instances then are associated with a particular tile file by the tile file list file. The datapath floorplanner uses the tile files to integrate the placement information with the specific function instances, and further allows the specification of clusters, function interleaving, and net side constraints per region. A datapath placer places the datapath functions in each region using the relative placement information and constraints. The routing space estimator estimates the space needed for routing a placed region. All of this information is interactively provided to the circuit designer so as to allow almost real time modification of datapath placement.

A food product finisher includes a finisher housing and screen supported by the housing. A rotor driven within the screen has an inlet section with inlet vanes of reduced diameter in a steep helical configuration. The inlet vanes are joined continuously into body vanes of full height and less steep helical configuration on the body of the rotor. Steps or transition sections may be provided in the vanes. The vane configuration provides uniform loading of the vanes, high efficiency and reduced power consumption.

A Hall effect device test circuit which detects Hall effect device operate and release point failures. A magnetic field circuit, a voltage switching circuit, a comparison circuit, a retriggerable monostable multivibrator circuit and a visual indicator circuit are included. The comparison circuit compares the Hall effect device switching voltage to a predetermined threshold and controls the multivibrator circuit which causes a visual pass/fail signal to be provided.
