A method and apparatus is disclosed herein for automatically supplying data items to a client. In one embodiment, the method comprises determining, from among a plurality of data items displayable by a client, one or more relevant data items to be supplied to the client, the plurality of data items displayable by a client located in a first database corresponding to a tracked user's interactions with a website. The one or more relevant data items are then automatically supplied to the client. The method also includes storing a copy of the supplied one or more relevant data items in a second database.

Deep clickflow tracking

A computer-assisted technique for constructing a three-dimensional model on top of one or more images (e.g., photographs) such that the model's parameters automatically match those of the real world object depicted in the photograph(s). Camera parameters such as focal length, position, and orientation in space may be determined from the images such that the projection of a three-dimensional model through the calculated camera parameters matches the projection of the real world object through the camera onto the image surface. Modeling is accomplished using primitives, such as boxes or pyramids, which may be intuitively manipulated to construct the three-dimensional model on a video display or other display screen of a computer system with a two-dimensional input controller (e.g., a mouse, joystick, etc.) such that the displayed three-dimensional object manipulation emulates physical three-dimensional object manipulation. Camera and primitive parameters are incrementally updated to provide visual feedback of the effect of additional constraints on the three-dimensional model, making apparent which user action may have been responsible for any failure to provide a modeling solution and, thus, allowing for rapid reversal and correction thereof. Surface properties (i.e., textures) may be extracted from the images for use in the three-dimensional model.

Method and apparatus for image assisted modeling of three-dimensional scenes

A computer-assisted technique for providing approximate solutions to photogrammetric problems in interactive applications computes an approximate solution to a large, non-linear system by converting the non-linear system into a smaller, linear system where only a subset of the system's parameters are used. The size of the smaller system can be adjusted to different system capabilities and/or model complexities to ensure computation of an approximate solution in a given time. For use in an interactive environment, this time may be adjusted so that redraw rates are within acceptable tolerances, say from 5 to 30 frames per second. The method may allow for drawing a three-dimensional representation of a scene using parameterized primitives having constraints which are updated interactively, so as to minimize error in constrained locations of the primitives. Such drawing may include creating a Jacobian matrix for a predetermined minimum set of parameters of the primitives. Creating the Jacobian matrix may include searching for parameters of the primitives which can be updated to reflect constraint requirements introduced by user interaction, up to the predetermined minimum set of parameters. The present invention thus allows for interactive manipulation of computer displayed objects represented in three-dimensional form.

Parameter selection for approximate solutions to photogrammetric problems in interactive applications

Information extracted from two or more images of a scene is composited into a single texture image for each surface of a computer-generated model of the scene thus providing, view-independent rectangular textures over standard geometries. In conjunction with a photogrammetric modeling system, the texture information may be extracted from a variety of images, which may be taken from a variety of different angles, with different cameras and under different lighting conditions. The fusion of the texture information is preferably performed during a preprocessing step, eliminating the need for further texture processing. Perspective projection artifacts in the final texture is reduced or eliminated. Further, visible seams between partial textures from different images (which may otherwise be caused by misregistration or differences in illumination) are reduced or avoided. The method uses the &ldquo;best&rdquo; available source information from each image, where &ldquo;best&rdquo; usually means highest resolution, but in practice a variety of measures can be used. Further, lighting information present in the source images can be extracted and eliminated to start with an &ldquo;unlit&rdquo; or &ldquo;evenly lit&rdquo; scene which can then be re-lit synthetically with different lights. Similarly, the true lighting information from the original images can be extracted and applied to unlit synthetic textures, thus simulating the actual lighting conditions without the need to model the lighting virtually. Given enough images of the same surface, view-dependent obstructions which may partially obscure the surface in various views can be automatically removed.
