A fuel metering apparatus is shown as having a throttle body with an induction passage therethrough and a throttle valve for controlling the flow of air therethrough; associated fuel metering and control apparatus is shown operatively connected to individual fuel injection valve assemblies respectively associated with respective cylinders of an internal combustion engine; such fuel injection valve assembly is shown as being constructed as to be capable of disassembly thereby enabling the replacement of components thereof, as need replacement, without the necessity of having to replace the entire fuel injection valve assembly when only a portion thereof actually needs replacement.

A fuel metering device, such as a carburetor for a combustion engine, has a fuel bowl or fuel reservoir with a fuel vapor venting apparatus for, at times, venting such fuel vapors from the interior of the fuel reservoir to, for example, associated canister means. A resiliently deflectable valve member carried as by a stem of an associated solenoid assembly serves to open and close related fuel vapor vent passages. When in one of its operating positions, the valve member is effective for opening a vent passage leading to an associated canister and, when in another of its operating positions, the valve member is effective for opening a vent passage leading to a motive fluid induction passage leading to the associated combustion engine.

A universal patentee's ring, pin, emblem or similar device comprises the combination of a body having means for attachment thereof to a finger, article of clothing or the like, indicia formed on or attached to the body indicating that the wearer or owner is an inventor-patentee, and a legend formed on or carried by the body specifying additional information concerning the indicia and/or comprising additional adornment for the device, the legend in one form of the invention being carried by an interchangeable element enabling the legend to be changed when the wearer's or owner's inventor-patentee status changes, an element for the finger ring embodiment of the invention being available in varying dimension so as to adapt the ring to the size of the finger.
