A hydrostatic axial piston machine (), in particular an axial piston motor, has a rotating cylinder block () with a cylinder block body () and a cylinder block neck (), and a drive shaft (). Located in the cylinder block body () are a plurality of piston bores () with pistons () that can move longitudinally and which are supported on a swashplate (). Between the cylinder block neck () which projects from the cylinder block body () and extends in the direction of the swashplate () and the drive shaft () there is a synchronization gearing () and a braking device () that acts on the cylinder block (). In the vicinity of the cylinder block neck () within the axial dimension of the cylinder block body (), there is an additional synchronization gearing (). The additional synchronization gearing () has a larger gear tooth clearance (S) in the vicinity of the cylinder block body () than the synchronization gearing () in the vicinity of the cylinder block neck ().

Hydrostatic axial piston machine

An axial piston machine () has a swashplate construction with work pistons () located longitudinally in a cylinder drum (), each supported by a sliding block () on a swashplate (). The sliding blocks () are secured against lifting up from the swashplate () by a retaining plate () that rotates in rotational synchronization with the cylinder drum (). The retaining plate () is fixed in position in the axial direction by a retaining device (). The retaining device () can be a groove-shaped recess () in the swashplate (), into which the retaining plate () can be inserted. Or, the retaining device () can be formed by a plate-shaped component () inserted into a groove-shaped housing recess () on the housing (), with which the retaining plate () can be placed in contact.

Axial piston machine in swashplate construction

A hydrostatic drive axle has two hydrostatic axial piston motors utilizing a swashplate design located coaxially next to each other, the control sides of which face each other. Tubular terminal segments () of the drive axle are in the form of axial piston motors () and are shaped and fitted on a center segment (), in which there is a control base seat () that is common to the two axial piston motors (). To make possible easy assembly and disassembly, the control base seat () is shaped and fitted in the center segment.
