An electric machine for use within the powertrain of a hybrid or fully electric motor vehicle including a stator and a rotor which is separated from the stator by an air gap, said stator and rotor being received in an engine housing. The rotor is rotatably mounted relative to the stator by means of two axially spaced rolling bearings, and at least one of the rolling bearings is axially biased by a spring element which is supported against the motor housing in the axial direction and lies against the rolling bearing. The biased rolling bearing has an inner ring and an outer ring, between which a plurality of rolling bodies are received in a rollable manner, the inner ring is rotationally fixed to the rotor via a first bearing seat, and the outer ring is rotationally fixed to the engine housing via a second bearing seat. The spring element is arranged on the first bearing seat and/or second bearing seat so as to be secured in the axial direction in a form-fitting manner.

Electric machine, method for producing an electric machine, and electrically operable powertrain

An oil drip pan for rotationally fixed placement onto a shaft, which is rotatable about an axis, includes a pan bottom which extends in an axial direction, is closed on the circumference, and from which two pan walls extend radially inwards towards the axis. A channel is defined by the pan bottom and the two pan walls. The channel is arranged to, when the shaft rotates, receive hydraulic fluid. At least portions of the pan bottom have surface structures extending in the axial direction and protruding inwards in a radial direction out of the pan bottom. The surface structures are configured such that the hydraulic fluid flows over the surface structures in a circumferential direction when the shaft rotates, and solid particles from the hydraulic fluid are deposited in pan pockets defined by circumferentially adjacent surface structures.

An electrical machine, in particular an axial flux motor, with a rotor, mounted rotatably about a machine axis, and with a stator. The stator has a sintered support structure and an insert connected thereto, which forms at least partially a pole shoe, and which comprises a lamination stack.

Axial flux motor for motor vehicle

A drive unit includes a housing having first and second chambers. An electromotive drive is disposed in the first chamber and including a hollow rotor shaft. A transmission is disposed in the second chamber and includes an output shaft extending through the rotor shaft such that a gap is formed. The transmission further includes a gearing arrangement that operably couples the output shaft to the rotor shaft and reduces a speed ratio between the rotor shaft and the output shaft so that the output shaft rotates slower than the rotor shaft when operating. The gearing arrangement includes a first element fixed to the rotor shaft and a second element that rotates slower than the first element when operating. An annular clearance is defined between the first and second elements. An annular seal has a first portion engaging with the first element and a second portion engaging with the second element.
