An element for use in stationary material mixing and distribution. The element has an element longitudinal axis and a web positioned along the element longitudinal axis. A ramp is connected to a first end of the web and oriented diagonally thereto. A diverter is positioned on a first side of the web and a diverter is positioned on a second side of the web. First and second ears are bent respectively in upward and downward directions relative to the longitudinal axis. A rectangular member whose plane of orientation is substantially perpendicular to the web is provided as well as a third ear in the plane of orientation of the rectangular member extending from the rectangular member to the web.

Custody transfer mixing apparatus

A device for the injection and mixing of steam into a fluid stream. The device includes a cylindrically-shaped primary conduit having a longitudinal axis and circular cross-section for carrying the fluid stream. The primary conduit is provided with an inlet for accepting the fluid stream and an outlet for discharging the fluid stream along the longitudinal axis. A secondary conduit is joined to the primary conduit for discharging steam within the fluid stream along the longitudinal axis. A biscuit element is provided having upstream and downstream circular faces of diameters approximately that of the primary conduit's interior wall and having a geometric center coincident with the longitudinal axis and further having a plurality of openings through the biscuit each having a longitudinal axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the primary conduit and each of the openings having located therein a plurality of microtubes such that steam passing through the secondary conduit and fluid passing through the primary conduit pass through the microtubes and are mixed thereby.

Steam injection and mixing device

A material distributing and mixing apparatus. A conduit having a fluid inlet and fluid outlet houses a mixing element The mixing element includes rectangular segments forming forward facing V-sections and rearward facing V-sections. The forward facing V-sections form vertical apexes that face an incoming fluid stream while additive inlet ports are positioned proximate thereto. The forward facing V-sections are positioned proximate to the top and bottom surfaces of the conduit while the rearward facing V-sections form apexes which are substantially horizontal, the rearward facing V-sections being positioned proximate the vertically extending side walls of the conduit.

Channel mixing apparatus

A stationary material mixing apparatus located within a cylindrically-shaped conduit. The material mixing apparatus includes a front face, rear face, cone-shaped module having a base and apex supported on said front face and extending toward an upstream end of the conduit. A channel for introducing an additive to the fluid stream is provided, the additive being introduced at the apex of the cone-shaped module, the material mixing apparatus further being provided with three circular openings positioned 120 degrees from each other and each having a baffle configured therein.

Wafer mixing device

A high efficiency mixing device for mixing first and second fluids within a conduit. A biscuit element is positioned at the upstream end of the conduit having a longitudinal axis that coincides with the longitudinal axis of the conduit. The biscuit element is provided with a plurality of openings including a central opening positioned along the longitudinal axis and a plurality of additional openings spaced proximate to the central opening. The openings are provided with primary mixing elements which induce a rotational angular velocity to a first fluid passing therethrough of the same rotational sign. Second fluid feed ports are positioned within each of the openings for introducing a second fluid to the first fluid as the first fluid passes through the openings and into the conduit. Secondary and tertiary mixing elements are optionally located downstream of the biscuit element to enhance the mixing of the first and second fluids.

Motionless mixing device having primary and secondary feed ports

A device for the injection and mixing of steam into a fluid stream. The device is intended to be used in a substantially cylindrically-shaped primary conduit having a longitudinal axis and circular cross-section for carrying the fluid stream. The primary conduit is provided with an inlet for accepting the fluid stream and an outlet for discharging the fluid stream along the longitudinal axis. A secondary conduit is joined to the primary conduit for discharging steam within the fluid stream along the longitudinal axis. A biscuit element is provided of sintered tungsten having upstream and downstream circular faces sized to fit within the primary conduit along its interior wall having a geometric center coincident with the longitudinal axis and having a plurality of openings, each having a longitudinal axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the primary conduit. Each opening is provided with a mixing element that induces a rotational angular velocity to the fluid stream passing therethrough. Conically-shaped features extend from the circular faces and are centered along the longitudinal axis at the geometric centers thereof.

Durable steam injector device

A fluid conditioner for a fluid traveling through a conduit, the conduit having a longitudinal axis and substantially circular cross-section. The fluid conditioner includes a static mixing element and a straightener plate. The preferred static mixer is one having a flat generally rectangular central portion having first and second sets of ears affixed on opposite sides of the central portion. The sets of ears include first and second ears bent respectively in upward and downward directions relative to the plane of the central portion wherein each pair of ears located diagonally opposite one another across the central portion are bent in the same direction relative to the plane of the central portion. A third set of ears extend from the central portion and terminate at a substantially rectangular member whose plane of orientation is substantially perpendicular to the central portion and a plate affixed to the substantially rectangular member and oriented substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the conduit, the plate substantially covering the cross-section of the conduit having a plurality of openings to facilitate the passage of the fluid within the conduit.

Meter flow conditioner

A system for generating purified water from polluted water which includes an entry chamber communicating with a source of polluted water, a pump for delivering water vapor from the entry chamber to the vapor chamber, and a passageway for delivering condensed water from the vapor chamber to a reservoir of purified water.

Pressure desalination

A dispenser for condiments mountable on a container for a beverage wherein the container is any of a bottle and cups of several standard sizes. The dispenser comprises a circular base with a small inner cone having its largest rim integrally joined to the edge of a circular opening in the base. An outer cone formed as a series of steps is mounted on the base with the edge of the outer cone integrally joined to the edge of the base. The rim of a container for beverage supports any one of the steps depending on the size of the container. Alternatively, the dispenser is supported by a bottle container having a neck extending into the inner cone.

Combination condiment beverage dispenser

A container for condiments, e.g., nuts and nuggets of chocolates, comprising a cylinder with a bottom side mountable on the top of a standard cup/can. In one version, a bottom side is displaced from the bottom edge of the cylinder to form a skirt on the bottom edge of the cylinder. The skirt has an interior lip dimensioned such that the container 'snaps' onto the rim of a beverage can or cup. In another version, the cylinder and cup/can are telescoped into a sleeve. The top edge of cap/cup is adhered to a cover that is peeled back for access to the condiments. In another version, a partial lid is interposed between the cover and top rim of the cylinder. A drinking straw is inserted from the above the cover, through the container into the cup/can.

Condiment dispenser for beverage container

A container for bulk items of food, particularly hot dogs, comprising a box with a bottom side mountable on the top of a standard cup/can holding a beverage. A drinking straw is inserted through a side sleeve in the container and an opening in the top of the cup/can into the beverage. A lid is provided which, in one version, is attached along one edge to an edge of the tray. In one position, the lid covers the contents in the tray and in another position, the lid is laid open so that sauces are available for dipping an end of the hot dog in the sauce.

Combination hot dog and beverage dispenser

A system for managing a project being a plurality of jobs including construction jobs wherein some of the jobs don't require completion of other jobs and remaining jobs require completion of at least one of the independent jobs and/or completion of other jobs in the plurality of jobs. The system separates jobs into lists according to their dependency on other jobs and assigns manpower according to expense, expressed as man days, for completing the job withoin a list period. The system is preferably implemented in conjunction with a panoramic camera and computer. One section of the computer screen displays a 360&#xb0; field of view of the project. Another section displays a table showing the interrelationship of the jobs. Alpha-numeric indicia, entered by a mouse/keyboard at job locations on the image section of the screen are indexed to jobs scheduled in the table which is entered in the text section of the screen.

System for scheduling and monitoring a project

An exercise apparatus including a frame of four vertical legs secured together by horizontal rails on two opposing sides and an H frame telescoping into top ends of respective legs on one end of the frame. A floor platform has one end hingeably attached to bottom ends of two adjacent legs and extends between and beyond the two other legs. A barbell is clamped at a selectable location on the horizontal rails for providing resistance to performing deadlifts and leg presses by standing on the platform and lifting one end of the platform. Handles are detachably attachable to various locations on the frame. Uprights are provided for dips and pullups. A speed controller is provided for super slow repetitions.

Holistic exercise device

An apparatus and method for improving balance featuring a pedestal disk connected by a stem to a fulcrum disk which is supported on the floor. The user stands on the pedestal disk and performs exercises. Improvement of balance is measured by a timer which measures the period when the fulcrum is flush on the floor. An associated sighting device guides the user to maintain a fixed line of sight while performing exercises to improve eye-proprioceptive coordination. As the user improves his balance, he substitutes ever smaller fulcrum disks.

Apparatus and method for improving balance

A surveillance system featuring a camera that is directed to focus on a location where a noise has been generated and display an image of the location. The system includes an omnidirectional camera having a lens for viewing a 360&#xb0; field of view, a visual memory for storing visual data at addresses representing the field of view, an omnidirectional audial detector for detecting the direction of location of a source of a signal, a display selection means for selecting visual data from one of said addresses in said visual memory corresponding to said direction of location and a monitor for displaying said selected visual data. In one embodiment, the audial detector is a plurality of detectors arranged on a circle. A register stores the address of the detector closest to the source and this address is transmitted to the display controller which conditions a system monitor to display an image representing the selected visual data.
