A physical system supports a method on a surface of a gaming table for reception of markers identifying placement of wagers on a series of sequential random outcomes. There are a series of distinct adjacent areas for receiving markers indicating wagers on the series of sequential random outcomes. Each distinct area has a surface area sufficient to accommodate a marker indicating wagers from a single player. Associated with each area is an indicator of a degree of progression through a sequence of random outcomes. The indicator of a degree of progression changing after each sequential outcome. Any markers present on a distinct area moving relative to a last indicator on which any marker was present to indicate a change in a degree of progression in the series of sequential random outcomes.

System for identifying running streak wagering events and outcomes

According to some embodiments, a computer based and web enabled sweepstakes system that utilizes automation methods and tools to define a sweepstakes specification and to download the specification to one or more internet based web servers is disclosed. The web servers will permit a sweepstakes contestant to enter personal information into a sweepstakes central database using a web page entry form. The web server will provide the contestant with a printable document. The contestant will send the printed document to a centralized processing center by way of a publically available delivery service. Once received at the processing center, the contestant's unique OMR code found on the printed document is optically scanned and compared to information in the web server contestant data base. If the OMR code is found in the data base a match status flag is set within the contestants' record. Once the match status flag is set the contestant may check the sweepstakes web site to see if he or she is an instant or scheduled winner.

Network based sweepstakes gaming system incorporating an alternative method of contestant entry

There is disclosed herein a park locking mechanism for a selected gear of a vehicle transmission. The mechanism includes a manually actuatable shift rod, a pivotally mounted pawl lever for selectively engaging the gear, a rod assembly operatively connected to the pawl lever, a rotatable rod operatively connected to the shift rod, an actuating lever secured to the rotatable rod for rotation therewith, 'lock' and 'unlock' recesses formed in the distal end of the actuating lever, spring-loaded lug means for alternately engaging said recesses, and an opening formed in the actuating lever for connection with the rod assembly for pivoting the pawl lever into engagement with said selected gear when the PARK mode is selected by the operator.

Park locking mechanism

A manual two-speed automotive transmission adapted to being driven by an electric motor. The transmission includes an input shaft assembly driven by the motor via its armature, a flywheel and a clutch, an input gear assembly axially aligned with and separated from the input shaft assembly, and a transfer shaft assembly parallel to the input assemblies. A two-gear speed reducer rotatably mounted on the transfer shaft assembly connects a fixed gear of the input shaft assembly to a fixed gear of the input gear assembly. Additional gears are rotatably mounted on the transfer shaft assembly and secured to the input gear assembly, such that a synchronizer assembly on the transfer shaft cooperates with the various gears to drive the transfer shaft and a final output gear mounted thereon at a low or high speed. Reverse is accomplished by reversing the electric motor.

Two-speed transmission for use with electric powered vehicle

An electric vehicle of adequate performance and range and of low cost uses a long tray of batteries easily rolled into or from a housing which also comprises a structural backbone of the car. The body provides useful space, such as a passenger compartment on both sides of the backbone, extending down to about the level of the bottom of the backbone, thereby keeping a low center of gravity, and compactness for low wind resistance. The steering wheel is on a swing-arm standing out laterally from the backbone, the backbone supporting the steering shaft in a position not 'aimed' at the driver. The steering arm swings out of the way to facilitate access, and in one form of the invention the body top swings open and there are no side doors. Separate V belt drives from the motor through automatic speed-changing pulleys for each side minimize current draw on start-up and acceleration, maximize performance, ensure driving both drive wheels in slippery weather, and permit differential wheel speed on turns. Independent suspension of the drive wheels ('knee action') without universal joints is achieved by using the flexibility of the V belts to permit the driven pulley to rock out of alignment with the drive pulley.
