A boat cover system includes a receptacle and a telescoping tent pole secured in the receptacle. The tent pole may include an outer tube selectively securable in the receptacle, an inner tube slidably mounted within the outer tube, and a linear actuator coupled with the inner tube and configured to displace the inner tube relative to the outer tube. With a boat cover positioned over the telescoping tent pole, the telescoping tent pole is displaceable between a retracted position and an extended position by the linear actuator such that the telescoping tent pole is configured to tension the boat cover in the extended position and to ease the tension in the retracted position.

A quick disconnect mount includes a mounting stud securable to a structure, and a connector securable on the mounting stud. The mounting stud includes at least one circumferential ridge and at least one circumferential trough, and the connector includes a central channel sized to fit over the mounting stud and a locking bar engageable with the circumferential trough.

A seal enclosure protects a tubular motor that is configured to drive an awning roller. The seal enclose includes a motor box sized to fit over an end of the tubular motor, a motor box extension engaging the motor box and including a circumferential protrusion, a gasket positioned between the motor box and the motor box extension, and a flexible seal engaging the circumferential protrusion and configured to engage the awning roller. The motor box, the motor box extension and the flexible seal define a closed housing for the tubular motor.

A lateral arm actuator for an extendable awning includes a gas spring with a cylinder and a rod that is displaceable relative to the cylinder, a fitting disposed at a distal end of the rod, and an awning knuckle including a first connector coupled to a cylinder end of the gas spring, a second connector, and a pivot coupled between the first and second connectors. The second connector is pivotable relative to the first connector, and the second connector includes a hook. A cable formed into a continuous loop is positioned over the fitting, along the gas spring, and across the awning knuckle engaging the hook. An extendable awning assembly also incorporates the lateral arm actuator to extend and retract the awning via a motorized roller.

A drive mechanism for a bimini top with a pair of bimini arms supporting the bimini top includes a motor, a worm screw coupled with the motor for rotation by the motor, and a driven gear coupled with the worm screw. One of the pair of bimini arms is connected to the driven gear, and the driven gear is configured for displacement between a stowed position and an extended position by operation of the motor. A pivot hub engages the driven gear via an intermediate hub, and the other of the pair of bimini arms is connected to the pivot hub. The pivot hub and intermediate hub are configured for displacement between a down position and an up position by operation of the motor through the driven gear and the intermediate hub. A first arc spanned by the driven gear between the stowed position and the extended position is greater than a second arc spanned by the pivot hub between the down position and the up position.

Drive mechanism for bimini top system

A clip assembly secures a flexible material to a profile with a receiving channel. An exemplary profile is a pontoon fence rail. The clip assembly includes a clip bracket with a material connecting section and a profile connecting section. The material connecting section has an aperture, and the profile connecting section has a connection tab. A connector includes a shaft and a cap. The shaft is insertable through the flexible material into the aperture of the material connecting section. The connection tab is releasably engageable with the receiving channel with the flexible material sandwiched between the material connecting section and the cap of the connector.

Pontoon canvas clip

A self-supporting bimini top frame is independently supportable on four contact points. A main bow defines a first support member for a bimini top connectable to the bimini top frame. The main bow defines first and second contact points. A pair of stanchions are pivotably connected to the main bow and define third and fourth contact points. A primary tension bow is pivotably and slidably connected to the main bow and defines a second support member for the bimini top. A bimini top may also be secured on the bimini top frame.

A tubing member includes an outer periphery delimiting a tubing interior and a slot opening therein. A channel is positioned adjacent the slot opening in the tubing interior and is integral with the outer periphery. The channel is accessible via the slot opening.

Tubing with internal channel

A cover system for a boat includes a bimini frame securable to the boat and displaceable among an open position, a storage position, and a cover position. A flexible top is coupled with the bimini frame, and a cover is positionable over the bimini frame with the bimini frame in the cover position. The bimini frame thus functions as a support structure for a mooring or trailering cover. With the described bimini frame, one cover size can fit multiple seating and deck configurations without the need for a separate cover design for the various configurations.

Pontoon boat cover system

A retractable roof includes a pair of tracks oriented lengthwise along opposite sides of an opening, a plurality of traveler cars displaceable on the tracks manually or by motor, and a plurality of bows coupled with the traveler cars and extending between the tracks and across the opening. The bows are displaceable with the traveler cars between a closed position and an opened position. A roof material sized to cover the opening is secured to the bows.
