An injection system includes an injector head that is configured to control delivery of a designated fluid to a patient. The injector head includes a syringe interface along an active side of the injector head. The syringe interface has a receiving cavity that is configured to receive a syringe barrel. A side cover has a syringe opening therethrough. The side cover is sized and shaped to cover at least a portion of the active side of the injector head such that the receiving cavity and the syringe opening align with each other to form a port that receives the syringe barrel.

Injection system for injecting fluid into a patient having an injector head and a side cover

A syringe barrel includes a barrel body having a passage extending along a longitudinal axis between a tip opening and a load opening. The passage is configured to permit a plunger to advance therethrough along the longitudinal axis for driving a liquid through the tip opening. The barrel body includes a base portion that is configured to operably engage an injection system. The base portion has a body surface that is shaped to form a light-propagating space alongside the body surface. The light-propagating space extends to reflective ramps of the body surface. The reflective ramps have predetermined sizes and positions to reflect light signals radially away from the barrel body.

Syringe barrel and syringe-confirmation assembly

An infusion set check valve assembly includes a self-contained housing that defines inlet ports and an outlet port. The assembly also includes at least one check valve disposed within the self-contained housing between the outlet channel and at least one of the inlet ports. The at least one check valve is configured to open for a first fluid to flow from a first inlet to a patient line via an outlet channel while a second fluid also flows from a second inlet to the patient line via the outlet channel. The at least one check valve closes to prevent the first fluid from flowing to the patient line via the outlet channel while the second fluid flows to the patient line.

Check valve assembly

A check valve assembly is configured to couple to a first container that retains a first fluid and a second container that retains a second fluid. The check valve includes a fluid inlet housing including a first fluid inlet port defining a first fluid inlet channel, and a second fluid inlet port defining a second fluid inlet channel. A fluid outlet housing is coupled to the fluid inlet housing. The fluid outlet housing includes a fluid outlet port defining a fluid outlet channel. A first diaphragm is seated over the first fluid inlet channel. At least a portion of the first diaphragm is configured to unseat over the first fluid inlet channel to allow the first fluid to pass from the first fluid inlet channel into the fluid outlet channel. A second diaphragm is seated over the second fluid inlet channel. At least a portion of the second diaphragm is configured to unseat over the first fluid inlet channel to allow the second fluid to pass from the second fluid inlet channel into the fluid outlet channel.

The battery cell plate frame assembly comprising a frame, and a sub-assembly comprising a conductive cell plate connector bracket, a conductive terminal, a fuse interposed between the connector bracket and the terminal and a non-conductive bridge separately supporting the connector bracket, the terminal and the fuse. In one form, the connector bracket and terminal include planar elements frictionally connected to the bridge. The bridge includes grasping prongs to releasably support the fuse. The fuse includes a wire connected to the connector bracket and a wire connected to the terminal.

Battery cell plate frame assembly and method

A single retainer is configured to securely retain a fastener and first and second limiting members. The retainer may include a main body, fastener-engaging members extending from the main body, and limiter-engaging members from the main body. The fastener-engaging members are configured to securely engage a portion of the fastener, and the limiter-engaging members are configured to securely engage portions of the first and second limiting members. The fastener-engaging members and the limiter-engaging members are configured to retain the fastener and the first and second limiting members.

Fastener retainer

An external surface for a fastener insert to be embedded in a component includes a plurality of spaced rings surrounding a embeddable shank of the insert. The rings define a plurality of waves. The ring height can be increased progressively from a distal end of the insert to the rings nearest the head of the insert, thereby providing a generally tapered outer configuration for the insert.

Embeddable assembly

A washer assembly is configured to isolate a work-piece from a fastener and/or another structure. The washer assembly includes a rubber isolator having at least one protuberance configured to directly contact a surface of the work-piece, and a metal strengthening member permanently secured to the rubber isolator. The protuberance(s) is configured to be compressed during a normal operating condition. The metal strengthening member is configured to be compressed during a peak operating condition in which greater force is exerted into the washer assembly than during the normal operating condition.

Washer assembly

A ring bolt and a subassembly thereof; the ring bolt having a shank, a first fastening thread extending from a distal end of the shank and a helical ring extending from the fastening thread. The major diameter defined by the helical ring is greater than the major diameter defined by the fastening thread. A component to be captured together with the ring bolt in a subassembly has at least one inward projection in an opening therethrough to define a restricted entrance wider then the major diameter of the fastening thread but smaller than the major diameter of the helical ring.

An annular two-phase spring has a plurality of first waves providing a first spring rate and a plurality of second waves providing a second spring rate. The two-phase spring can be used for installing a fuel injector in a fuel injector bore to improve sound performance.

A dual-phase spring assembly configured for use with a fuel injector system includes a metal main body and a rubber ring. The main body includes a base integrally connected to a circumferential wall having a radially-canted lip. The base defines a central opening. The radially-canted lip angles away from a center of the main body. The rubber ring secures over the base and to an internal surface of the circumferential wall. The rubber ring covers a ledge of the base, while the radially-canted lip is exposed. The rubber ring is configured to directly abut at least a first portion of the fuel injector system, and the radially-canted lip is configured to directly abut a second portion of the fuel injector system.

Dual-phase spring assembly for use with fuel injector system

An external surface for a fastener insert to be embedded in a component includes ridges extending along an outer surface of the portion to be embedded. The ridges include end-to-end projections that vary in width and height from one end of a projection to an opposite end of a projection. Wedges are formed in the surface between adjacent ridges.

Spire insert with ring-shank nicking

A fastener assembly includes a bushing having a flange configured to be urged toward a work-piece, and an isolation spring configured to be positioned between the flange and the work-piece. The isolation spring includes a metal core integrally formed with a rubber coating.

Bushing assembly

An isolating connector between a first work piece and a second work piece each defining a hole therein includes first and second spring members that capture the first work piece between flanges of the spring members and establish a column between the second work piece and a head of a bolt extending through the first and second spring members and anchored in the second work piece.
