Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a hosel portion configured to attach to a shaft and located heel-ward of a center longitudinal plane, the horizontal plane being parallel to a ground plane, and the vertical plane being perpendicular to the horizontal plane, the ground plane, and the center longitudinal plane. A center of gravity of the golf club head is located on an intersection between the horizontal plane and the vertical plane. The hosel portion is configured to orient the shaft such that a shaft axis intersects the horizontal plane and the vertical plane at an intersection point located toe-ward from the center of gravity. Golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads

Embodiments of golf club heads, golf clubs, and methods to manufacture golf club heads and golf clubs are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion, a first interior cavity portion, and a face portion, which includes a back surface with a face perimeter portion, a ridge portion extending from the face perimeter portion, and a wall portion coupled to the ridge portion and extending outward from the ridge portion to define a second interior cavity portion in the body portion. The golf club head further includes a first filler material and a second filler material. The first interior cavity portion is at least partially filled with the first filler material, and the second interior cavity portion is at least partially filled with the second filler material. Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a putter-type golf club head includes a body portion and a retention cavity extending into the body portion and having an opening and one or more interior side walls. The retention cavity defines two or more ball retention areas for frictionally engaging and retaining a golf ball within the retention cavity. The two or more ball retention areas frictionally engage the golf ball along a ball circumference located above an equator of the golf ball at a distance greater than or equal to 0.050 inches (0.127 centimeters) and less than or equal to 0.070 inches (0.178 centimeters). The golf club head has a head mass greater than or equal to 300 grams and less than or equal to 400 grams. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion, a crown portion having a composite material, a first groove on a bottom portion extending in a heel-to-toe direction, a second groove on the bottom portion extending in a heel-to-toe direction, a first set of ports on the bottom portion between the first groove and the second groove, a second set of ports on the bottom portion between the second groove and a rear portion, and a filler material in the body portion between the first groove and the rear portion. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion, a first set of ports extending in a heel-to-toe direction, a second set of ports extending in a heel-to-toe direction, a first cavity portion between the first set of ports and the face portion, a second cavity portion between the second set of ports and the rear portion, a first filler material in the first cavity portion, and a second filler material in the second cavity portion. The distance between each port of the first set of ports and the face portion is less than a distance between each port of the second set of ports and the face portion. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion including a toe portion edge, a heel portion edge, a face portion, an interior portion, and first and second ports connected to the interior portion; a mass portion; and a filler material between the face portion and the mass portion. The mass portion has a different shape than the first port or the second port, a distance between the second port and the toe portion edge is greater than a distance between the mass portion and the toe portion edge, and a distance between the first port and the heel portion edge is greater than a distance between the second port and the heel portion edge. In one example, a golf club head includes body portion having an interior portion and an exterior portion, a first mass portion coupled to the exterior portion of the body portion below a horizontal midplane of the body portion, and a second mass portion coupled to the interior portion of the body portion. The second mass portion is located proximate to a toe portion edge of the body portion and has a shape at least partially corresponding to a shape of a portion of the toe portion edge. The second mass portion increases in mass in a top-to-sole direction, and more than 50% of the mass of the second mass portion is below the horizontal midplane. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a first body portion piece with a first port, and a second body portion piece removably coupled to the first body portion piece and having a second port. The first body portion piece may be at least partially filled with a polymer material. The golf club head may also include a mass portion having a fastening portion. The first and second ports are configured to be axially aligned. The second port is configured to receive the mass portion to close the second port, and the fastening portion of the mass portion is configured to engage the first port to fasten the second body portion piece to the first body portion piece. In one example, a method of manufacturing a golf club head includes providing a body portion having a front portion with a front opening. A front pocket portion is welded to the front portion to close the front opening and form a first cavity. A polymer insert is positioned within the front pocket, the polymer insert occupying less than a total available space within the front pocket portion. A face portion is welded to the front pocket portion to close the front pocket portion and form a second cavity having a volume less than a volume of the first cavity. Embodiments of golf clubs heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a hosel portion coupled to a golf shaft. The hosel portion is disposed within a space bounded by a center longitudinal plane, a heel boundary plane, a front boundary plane, and a lateral plane parallel to the front boundary plane. The hosel portion is intersected by a heel dividing plane parallel to and equidistant from the center longitudinal plane and the heel boundary plane. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion with a first interior cavity portion and a second interior cavity portion. A polymer material in the first interior cavity portion has a coefficient of restitution of greater than or equal to 0.50 and less than or equal to 0.95. The golf club head includes a first set of mass portions, a second set of mass portions, and a third set of mass portions. A maximum first interior cavity width is above the second set of mass portions and below a neutral axis, and a first interior cavity portion extends over the second set of mass portions at the maximum first interior cavity width. Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion with an interior cavity, an upper back wall portion, a lower back wall portion, a ledge portion extending from the upper back wall portion to the lower back wall portion, an upper back wall portion thickness, and a lower back wall portion thickness. The golf club head may further include a first mass portion below the ledge portion, a second mass portion above the ledge portion, a polymer material in the interior cavity, a first width of the interior cavity above the ledge portion, a second width of the interior cavity below the ledge portion and above the lower back wall portion thickness, and a third width of the interior cavity below the second width. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a front portion, a rear portion, a toe portion, a heel portion, a top portion, a bottom portion, a face portion, and a periphery. The bottom portion may include a forward portion and a rear protrusion at or proximate the rear portion. The rear protrusion may project downward from the periphery and extend longitudinally in a rear-to-front direction. The rear protrusion may include a front-side portion. A toe-side portion may extend rearwardly from the front-side portion towards the rear portion. The rear protrusion may also include a heel-side portion extending rearwardly from the front-side portion towards the rear portion. A weight port may be defined by the rear protrusion.
