A disaster assessment system is presented. The disaster assessment system generates one or more impact reports detailing the nature of how a disaster has impacted a building site based on sensor data associated with the building site that is collected after the disaster. According to one aspect of the inventive subject matter, the disaster assessment system includes a sensor platform, a pre-disaster database, a historic disaster database, and an impact assessment engine. The sensor platform obtains sensor data reflecting a building site before, during, and/or after an event. The impact assessment engine derives a pre-event 3D model based on sensor data collected by the sensor platform before the event, and derives a post-event 3D model based on sensor data collected by the sensor platform after the event. The impact assessment engine then generates the impact reports based on a difference between the pre-event 3D model and the post-event 3D model.

Post-disaster assessment systems and methods

A method and a system of integrating a new robot into a work environment are provided. A controller receives a signal indicating a presence of a new robot in the work environment. The controller then establishes a negotiation channel between the controller and the new robot and begins to negotiate with the new robot a set of robotic functions controllable by the controller. Based on a comparison between a set of function attributes the new robot and interface attributes of the controller, the controller generates a new robot user interface for controlling the set of robotic functions of the new robot.

Universal construction robotics interface

A method for managing hazards in a construction site is presented. One aspect of the inventive subject matter includes a hazard management process that utilitizes a hazard context database, a sensor interface, and a hazard analysis engine. The sensor interface is configured to acquire a site data feed that is representative of a construction site. The hazard analysis engine is configured to (i) instantiate a hazard object by comparing the site data feed to hazard criteria of the plurality of hazard contexts, (ii) update the hazard object based on the site data feed, (iii) generate hazard notification criteria related to the hazard object, (iv) obtain worker attributes from the site data, and (v) transmit a hazard notification to an output device when the worker attributes cause satisfaction of the hazard notification criteria.
