An API transaction management computing device is provided that receives an API request from a source node and obtains an API response from a destination node. The device includes a receiving module configured to receive the API request from the source node, a scoring module configured to determine an assessment score based on information associated with the API request including information about a digital identity associated with the API request and match the assessment score to an actions rule comprising controlling deliverability, messaging, and content of the API request, and a transmission module configured to perform actions of the actions rule by controlling deliverability, messaging, and content of the API request to a destination node and the API response to a transmitting source node.

System for reducing application programming interface (API) risk and latency

A hose connection system for connecting a hose to a gas turbine engine. The hose connection system may include a connection fitting and a connection tool. The connection fitting may include a first member to be attached to the gas turbine engine, a mating component to be attached to the hose, and a splined second member to be torqued onto the first member. The connection tool may include a drive wheel with a number of drive wheel splines such that the drive wheel splines torque the splined second member onto the first member.

Embodiments of the disclosure can relate to bearing health monitoring in power plants. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method for bearing health monitoring in power plants can include receiving operational data associated with a power plant component. The method may further include receiving training data from one or more power plants. The method may further include determining a signature associated with an anomaly event of the power plant component, based at least in part on the operational data and the training data. The anomaly event of the power plant component may include a wiping of a bearing or a scoring of a bearing. The method can further include generating (1) an alert indicative of the anomaly event or (2) an alert to modify an inspection interval for the power plant component, based at least in part on a comparison of the signature with a threshold signature. The method can further include generating a repair or inspection recommendation for the power plant component, based at least in part on the comparison.

Systems and methods for bearing health monitoring in power plants

The present application thus provides a bolt tightening system. The bolt tightening system may include a bolt, a nut, and a bolt tightening tool. The bolt tightening tool may include an adapter and a chamber. One of the adapter and the chamber applies a torque to the bolt and one holds the nut.

A miniaturized counterfeit detector provides multiple tests to ascertain the authenticity of currency in a rapid fashion. The miniaturized counterfeit detector comprises one or more sensors for magnetic ink testing. One or more backlights, illuminators or both may be provided for visual inspection of watermarks, florescent or other anti-counterfeiting features. The miniaturized counterfeit detector may be fastened to a surface and does not obstruct manipulation of currency to improve testing speed, especially when a number of currency items, such as banknotes or bills, are being tested.

The method may include generating at least one ultrasonic guided wave to enable the at least one ultrasonic guided wave to propagate through a rail; detecting at least one of a fundamental frequency component of the at least one ultrasonic guided wave, one or more harmonics of the at least one ultrasonic guided wave, and/or a mixing component of the at least one ultrasonic guided wave; and determining a stress of the rail based on at least a nonlinearity parameter determined from the detected at least one of the fundamental frequency component, the one or more harmonics, and the mixing component. Stress detection in rail

A method and apparatus enables linered label applicators to use labels on thin liners. Linered labels comprise a composite of an elongate sheet of thin or light-weight temporary liner having a precut label adhered to a low adhesion surface. The cut-out labels on the liner are fed into the linered label applicator. The use of support mechanisms other then vacuum application on rollers enables the use of thinner liner sheets on labels. A die head for cutting or perforating labels comprising adhesive on label stock comprising a die head having at least 80% of its outer surface comprising flat areas between cutting edges, multiple cutting edges on the outer surface, and an internal volume in the die head, the internal volume for carrying coolant liquid into and out of the volume so as to cool the outer surface of the die head when the coolant temperature is at least 10&#xb0; C. cooler than the outer surface of the die head.

Apparatus and method for applying labels

A method and apparatus enables linered label applicators to use labels on thin liners. A valve cap apparatus is provided for use with a musical instrument having a valve case configured to receive a valve. The apparatus includes a main end cap having a first attachment portion configured to be removably coupled to an end of the valve case, and a secondary end cap having a second attachment portion configured to be removably coupled to the main end cap.

Adjustable weight valve cap

A trap system includes a housing in which a conventional spring-loaded trap is mounted. The housing defines a rodent access through which the rodent enters the housing. Rodent bait secured to the trigger of the trap entices the rodent to travel to and activate the trap. Upon activation, the trapping bar of the trap pulls the activation indicator into the housing to indicate that trap activation has occurred. The trap system includes an obstructor that hinders inadvertent activation of the trap during shipping.

Animal trap system

An eyeglasses apparatus for attachment to a cap visor; the apparatus comprises two main parts, including a clip part which is selectively removably attachable to a cap visor and a main eyeglasses part which is hingedly engageable with a member of the clip part. The main eyeglasses part is integrally molded in a unitary construction, and preferably comprises either sunglasses or safety glasses. When the apparatus is attached to a cap visor, the main eyeglasses part can be readily pivotably moved between an operative position wherein the user's eyes are shielded and an inoperative position wherein the main eyeglasses part is disposed adjacent the underside of the cap visor.

Eyeglasses apparatus, and methods of constructing and utilizing same

An electric furnace wall construction is provided and comprises a plurality of layers of heat insulating fiberboard overlying each other. Certain of the layers of fiberboard are apertured to receive ceramic hangers which support a serpentine arrangement of electric strip resistance heaters. The construction is held together by a plurality of studs and mating locking washers.
