An online system provides navigation information customized using travel preferences of users. The online system receives actions performed by users that may indicate their geographical locations of interest. The online system may use a model to predict a user's level of interest in destination geographical locations. The online system generates navigation information or travel information that describes routes from origin geographical locations of users to destination geographical locations to which the users are likely to travel. The online system transmits the navigation information to client devices for presentation as personalized or dynamically-created content items to users. The online system may generate navigation information using catalogs describing routes between geographical locations. For instance, the catalog indicates a vehicle for navigation along a route, as well as origin and destination geographical locations.

An apparatus and method for controlling the movement of liquids into and out of a container is described. The cleanable, portable, fully automated apparatus includes a main container for holding the food product, a liquid inlet container having a liquid inlet and inlet valve for controllably providing liquid into the main container and a liquid outlet container receiving liquid drained from the main container. A heater automatically heats the main container and a motor rotates or otherwise moves the main container from a receiving position for receiving fresh liquid from the inlet container to a drainage position for draining waste liquid via gravity from the main container into the outlet container. This rotation/movement of the main container can be used repeatedly to add fresh liquid and remove waste liquid during multiple fully automated cycles (e.g., sprouting, rinsing, soaking, cooking, etc.) that do not require user interaction.

It can include a main container for holding the food product and one or more other containers for holding a substance, such as liquid. Any of the containers can be heated to heat the food product. In one embodiment, individually addressable magnetic control mechanisms such as electric coils are provided at specific locations to create a magnetic field to attract magnetic particles, such a magnetic or magnetizable beads, to those specific locations. In another embodiment, electrostatic control mechanisms such as electrodes are provided to attract and manipulate electrically charged micro-particles. A location may include a crater or well formed in the substrate, or it may include an element on the surface of the substrate. In some embodiments, one or more sensors are located proximal specific locations, e.g., specific craters, so as to analyze specific conditions at each location. In other embodiments, multiple locations share one or more sensors.
