An operator cab for a work vehicle is releasably mounted to a frame of the vehicle via a cab support pin and a flexible mount during vehicle work operations and rotationally attached via the cab support pin for servicing working parts of the work vehicle. An anchor arrangement for the cab support pin helps to maintain the position of the cab with respect to the cab support pin during work and service operations.

Cab tilt with multifunction flag pin

A controller tower positioning system for a work vehicle for securing the controller tower to one of at least two positions. The system employs a mounting bracket fixed to the floor or a frame member of the work vehicle, a movable controller tower rotatably mounted to the mounting bracket and a resistive element strategically mounted to the controller tower and the mounting bracket to provide resistance to movement away from either of the two positions and a toggle effect as the controller tower is moved from one of the two positions to the other. The controller assembly is physically restrained at the free end of the controller tower.

Latchless controller tower

A backhoe boom lock for locking the boom to the swing frame during transporting and craning operations. The boom is provided with two upwardly open hooks that project on either side of the swing frame when the boom is retracted into its craning or transport positions. Two bell cranks are located on each side of the swing frame and are provided with transverse catches for engaging the upwardly open hooks. The bell cranks are biased downwardly by springs. A linkage for lifting the bell cranks against the biasing force of the springs extends from the bell cranks into the interior of the operator's cab. The linkage is provided with a control lever, located inside the operator's cab for lifting the bell cranks. After the boom has been retracted into its transport or craning position, the control lever is released and the bell cranks rotated by the biasing springs so that the catches engage the upwardly open hooks on the boom.
