A vehicle pane with a light guide layer on the pane inner face and a lighting device which introduces light of a light source into the light guide layer by means of a light-coupling device. The light-coupling device has at least one light-coupling element that has a base surface and is optically connected to a light guide layer inner face, which faces the vehicle interior, via the base surface. The light-coupling element may have a light-coupling region which lies opposite the base surface and on which the light source has at least one LED is positioned, said light source emitting light into the light-coupling element via the light-coupling region.

Vehicle pane with a lighting device

A vehicle window arrangement has an outer face facing a vehicle environment and an inner face facing a vehicle interior and being parallel to the outer face. A light-conducting layer forms the inner face. The vehicle window has a lighting unit and at least one light input unit having at least one light input element is disposed on the inner face which couples light emitted by the lighting unit, via a coupling surface opposite the inner face into the light-conducting layer. The light input unit is provided with at least one light-conductor on a coupling side of the at least one light input element which conducts light emitted by the lighting unit from a first light-conducting zone, which corresponds to a position of the lighting unit, to a second light-conducting zone, which is offset relative to the first light-conducting zone in the direction of the window body arrangement.

Vehicle window with lighting unit

A vehicle window pane having a window pane body assembly having an outer side, which faces a vehicle environment, and an inner side, which faces a vehicle interior, and having a light-conducting layer; and a light source configured to couple its light into the light-conducting layer. An input coupling element coupling light emitted by the light source into the light-conducting layer is disposed on the inner side of the window pane body assembly.
