A stand-up, book-like jewelry display device has a rectangular frame mounted upright on a horizontal bracket. Product panels that hold jewelry and graphics panels that depict the jewelry in use are rotatably mounted within the frame so that each panel swings about one of its edges, thereby giving the display the appearance of a book with pages to turn. Preferably, the product panels are alternated within the frame. In addition, the graphics panels are preferably narrower than the product panels such that, other than the graphics panel within the 'leaf' being viewed, each graphics panel is obscured by the product panel above it so that it does not block from view any jewelry displayed on the product panel below it. In addition, the upright frame may be rotatably mounted to the horizontal bracket such that the frame can be rotated to allow the salesperson to change the displays without having to turn the bracket. The frame may be locked in place by a peg that extends downward through the bottom portion of one side of the frame into a recess in the bracket.

A liquid dispensing assembly including a stationary nozzle, a pump mechanism including a stationary, hollow dispensing tube attached at a first end to the nozzle and at its other end to a piston, a generally cylindrical operating body disposed about the piston and cooperating with the piston and the stationary dispensing tube and a housing containing and maintaining said stationary nozzle and said pump mechanism in relation to one another, wherein the pump mechanism is actuated by moving the cylindrical operating body toward the nozzle in order to dispense a unit dose.

A dispensing-type display cabinet includes a frame and a door which is mounted to the frame such that the door is pivotally movable toward and away from the cabinet frame and is also vertically slidable. The cabinet frame includes a plurality of horizontal shelves for receiving product to be displayed and dispensed, and the door includes a plurality of vertically extending spaced partitions which define dispensing slits therebetween equal in number to the number of shelves. The door is vertically slidable between a position in which the slits are aligned with corresponding shelves so that product may be dispensed to a position in which the slits are not aligned with the shelves and product is inaccessible.

Rotating displays include rotation mechanisms which allow the displays to be easily rotated by consumers, yet automatically returned to one or more desired positions when released by the consumer. Holders for the display are affixed to turntables rotatably mounted upon a base wherein the turntables are attached to a biasing means capable of exerting a sufficient torque upon said turntable, relative to said base to cause an angular acceleration of said turntable toward a predetermined desired orientation. In preferred embodiments, the amplitude of the torque may be adjusted, depending upon the moment of inertia of the display, to cause a predetermined angular acceleration. The number and placement of equilibrium orientations may be selected based upon the desired geometric configuration of the display with which the rotation mechanism is to be used.

A pegboard display includes a pegboard rear wall having leftmost and rightmost edges, a plurality of openings being formed in the rear wall at spaced locations extending from the leftmost to the rightmost edges, a display divider, and a bracket assembly which cooperates with the pegboard openings to removably couple the display divider to the rear wall at substantially any position along the rear wall including the leftmost and rightmost edges of the rear wall. The bracket assembly includes a pegboard wall bracket having a divider bracket receiving portion and a plurality of fingers for releasably securing the wall bracket to the openings in the pegboard. The bracket assembly further includes a divider bracket having a first portion which is coupled to the display divider and a second portion adapted to be removably received in the divider bracket receiving portion of the wall bracket.

A plurality of factory constructed modules are user assembled to form a free standing display rack. Each module includes a pair of vertically aligned open front pans that are secured to an L-shaped frame constructed of rectangular tube elements. First and second modules are connected together to form a side-by-side array and a third module is connected to the array at right angles thereto. One end of the third module is adjacent the rear of the array and the open front of the third module is generally coplanar with a side of the array. A corner adapter interposed between the third module and the array includes a cover section that is generally coplanar with the front of the third module and bridges a narrow vertical gap between the front of the third module and array side adjacent thereto.

A kit for forming a variable sized bay-shaped display comprises rear well sections coupled together, bay dividers formed of hinged panels, and end caps covering the hinge of the divider to which it is attached.

An improved, variably sized display unit for displaying small merchandise in bays which are created against a wall or partition is disclosed. The wall is created from a series of sections to provide a variably sized display. Display dividers are used for creating the bays. The bays are formed by dividers constructed of pairs of angularly arranged vertical panels which are hingedly connected to one another and which are also secured to the wall at spaced intervals along the wall. A principal header extends along the upper periphery of the rear wall and functions to cover up and conceal mismatches between the rear wall sections and, optionally to support placards or other information bearing devices. The principal header is mounted adjustably at the wall to ensure that it can be mounted to be horizontally level regardless of the orientation of the wall itself. Additionaly, each rear wall section is constructed with reinforcement members which are designed with U-shaped channels, open toward the backside of the wall to guarantee that no interference is encountered from the reinforcement means and that a greater area of the rear wall is available for display purposes. The display unit includes, additionally, end caps for covering and concealing the hinged edges of the panels which make up the display dividers.

A kit for making a multi-bay display is disclosed. The kit includes a continuous rear wall, a plurality of bay dividers and means for attaching the bay dividers to the rear wall to form a multi-bay display. Each of the bay dividers includes first and second panels hingedly connected to one another, at least one extension member and means for coupling the extension member to a respective panel in a manner which permits the effective length of the panels to be adjusted.

Merchandise display stand or similar article

A unique display rack and support structure for mounting the display rack to a support wall are disclosed. The display rack includes at least one primary receptacle for holding an item of merchandise of a predetermined size and shape in a predetermined orientation. Each display rack also includes a plurality of chutes, equal in number to the number of receptacles, each chute being associated with a different receptacle and extending above its associated receptacle and opening into its associated receptacle. Each of the chutes has a size and shape adapted to hold a plurality of items of merchandise in a stack one atop the other and in a different orientation than the predetermined orientation. The relative position of each receptacle and its associated chute is such that when a single item of merchandise is removed from the receptacle, the lowermost one of the stack of items of merchandise located in its associated chute is pulled into the receptacle by the force of gravity and is oriented in the predetermined orientation by the size and shape of the receptacle. The individual display racks may be mounted on a support wall in a shingled fashion such that the chutes, which act as storage bins, are not readily viewed by a prospective purchaser. Each display rack may be moved from a display position, wherein the chute sections are hidden from view by the display rack above it to a loading position where the chute is readily access and additional items of merchandise may be placed therein.

A display unit for merchandise wherein a plurality of bays are created against a wall or partition. The bays are formed from a series of pairs of angularly arranged vertical panels secured to the wall and spaced from each other; the space between each pair of vertical panels constitutes a bay. The wall is provided with a subsidiary header for placards or the like. Each of the individual panels secured to the wall is provided with a header, the panel header being arranged and curved so that it appears to blend into the principal header on the wall. The plurality of bays increases the surface area available for the presentation of merchandise and provides an automatic separation or groupings of merchandise while nevertheless leaving all of the merchandise visible.
