A method and system provides for determining position information for tracking tags relative to a plurality of tracking stations. The method and system includes initiating a wake cycle at a first time including pausing for a first time period and thereafter emitting a blast of light in a light sweep. The method and system includes the tracking tags waking at the first time and activating a photoreceptor embedded therein. The tracking tags detecting the blast of light and initiating a tracking timer therein. From there, the method and system includes the tracking stations emitting a vertical laser in a circular rotation at a rotational speed. Whereby, the tracking tags detect the vertical laser at a timestamp and detect an angle between the tracking tag tracking stations based thereon.

Asset tracking system and method

A system for identifying a location of one or more assets in a predefined two-dimensional area comprises at least three tracking stations and one or more tracking tags. Each tracking station selectively emits a vertical laser line upon which is embedded a unique identifier, selectively sweeps its laser line about its central axis such that each tracking station's laser line sweeps across at least a portion of the predefined 2-D area, and selectively transmits a current angle of its laser line as its laser line sweeps about its central axis. Each tracking tag detects a laser line from at least three tracking stations within its line of sight. Each tracking tag decodes the unique tracking station identifier, receives the current angle from the tracking station corresponding to the detected laser line, and stores the decoded unique tracking station identifier and the received current angle.

A system for detecting velocity airflow in a duct includes a plurality of vortex shedders arranged within the duct for inducing the shedding of vortices at a corresponding plurality of selected locations at a frequencies related to the airflow in the duct and a sound-sensing location on each vortex shedder. A plurality of microphones, each microphone being coupled acoustically with each sound-sensing location senses sounds generated by said shedding of vortices in a corresponding passage and provides an information signal indicative of said vortex shedding sounds. A processing unit performs a Fast Fourier Transform on the information signals to determine frequency of maximum amplitude within the information signals.

A system for making financial transfers between subscribers of a financial transfer service is disclosed. The system may include a receiving subscriber interface (RSI), a sending subscriber interface (SSI), and an agent server (AS). The SSI may be configured to accept a set of payment information including an identifier of a source account. The AS may be configured to receive the set of invoice information and create an invoice based on the set of invoice information. The AS may also be configured to transmit the invoice and receive the set of payment information. The AS may also be configured to cause an amount of funds to be transferred from the source account on a source transfer network to the destination account on a destination transfer network via a primary transfer network.

This disclosure describes, generally, methods and systems for generating electronic invoices. The method may include logging on to an online invoicing service account, and looking up a customer account from multiple customers associated with the online invoicing service account. The method may further include selecting the customer account that has a pending financial transaction with a biller. A request for an electronic invoice to be generated for the selected customer is initiated and the electronic invoice may be transmitted to the selected customer.
