A piston pump for a high-pressure cleaning device is provided, having a pump housing, which includes a first housing part and a second housing part. The first housing part forms a suction conduit and a pressure conduit, and the second housing part forms a plurality of pump chambers into each of which a reciprocally movable piston dips and which are each in flow connection with the suction conduit by way of an inlet channel and with the pressure conduit by way of an outlet channel. The inlet channel can be closed by an inlet valve and the outlet channel can be closed by an outlet valve. The second housing part includes a valve receptacle, and that the piston pump includes an outlet valve assembly, wherein the outlet valve assembly comprises an outlet part, which is inserted into the valve receptacle and forms all outlet valve seats.

A motor-pump unit includes an electric motor and a pump. The electric motor has a motor housing, on the outside of which a cooling channel is arranged. The pump has a suction inlet and a pressure outlet. Liquid to be pressurized can be fed by way of the cooling channel to the suction inlet. In order that the motor-pump unit can be produced and assembled more cost-effectively, the motor housing includes a first housing part and a second housing part, which are connectable to each other in a liquid-tight manner and between them form the cooling channel.

The bypass line opens into a suction line section of the suction line, which extends between the housing components.

The pump has at least one pump chamber, into which at least one piston plunges, and which is connected to a suction line via at least one inlet valve and to a pressure line via at least one outlet valve. In a high-pressure cleaning apparatus comprising an electric motor, a high-pressure pump driven by the electric motor, and an automatic switching-off means for the electric motor including a switch actuatable by an actuating element moveable in dependence upon the pressure or the flow of the liquid being conveyed by the high-pressure pump, in order to reduce the switching expenditure it is proposed that a switching-off element which is manually actuatable on the high-pressure cleaning apparatus be associated with the same switch so that in one position of the switching-off element, the switch cuts off the power supply to the electric motor independently of the pressure or the flow of the liquid being conveyed, whereas in the other position the switch is actuatable by the actuating element.

A rotary nozzle for a high-pressure cleaning apparatus has a housing into which a feed line for a cleaning fluid issues, an outlet provided in the housing for expelling the cleaning fluid, a nozzle body through which the cleaning fluid flows, and a bearing that surrounds the outlet. The nozzle body is disposed in the housing, and is supported at its convex end in the bearing. The bearing is formed directly in an inner wall of the housing as a conically-shaped depression to avoid the need for a separate bearing insert, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process. Additionally, the conical shape of the bearing cooperates with the convex shape of the nozzle body to provide optimal sealing with a reduced contact surface for a long service life. The bearing is disposed concentrically relatively to the outlet. The nozzle body is set by the flow of cleaning fluid through the housing in a revolving movement in which a longitudinal axis of the nozzle body revolves on a generated cone.
