A digital assistant supported on a local device and/or a remote digital assistant service is disclosed herein. The device may interact with a user and perform various functions or tasks based on the user's input (e.g., web search, set calendar appointments, capture images or video). The digital assistant may identify and store artifacts associated with each action or function. Artifacts may include, for example, people in an image, search results from a web search, participants in a meeting, etc. Subsequently, the user may query the digital assistant for information about one of the artifacts, such as who the participants were in a meeting conducted the prior Thursday. The digital assistant can sift through the various artifacts and provide the user with the relevant information. Additionally, the digital assistant can suggest actions for the user based on the retrieved artifacts, such as to message one of the identified participants.

Task creation and completion with bi-directional user interactions

The described systems and methods are directed at persisting data between web pages. A server receives object-related data associated with a first web page and a request for posting to a second web page from a client. The object-related data includes information about the objects in the first web page. Instances of the objects associated with the first web page are reconstructed based, at least in part, on the object-related data. The server generates rendering data of the second web page based, at least in part, on the reconstructed object instances. In this manner, the object-related data is allowed to persist from the first web page to the second web page.

Systems and methods for persisting data between web pages

The described systems and methods are directed at defining web content navigation. The disclosed technique enables the development of web content for a scenario without having to create every navigational control that is needed to manage the flow through the web content in the scenario or to write non-declarative server-side logic to control navigation. This method determines a declaration in a source file for a web page. The declaration is associated with an object. The method determines the views associated with the object where each of the views includes a user-interface. A flow for navigating through the views is determined. The views are rendered in accordance with the navigational flow.

Systems and methods for defining web content navigation

The present invention relates to systems and methods for employing a trigger based mechanism to detect changes in a database table, providing a notification when the database table changes and registering to receive the notification. The systems and methods employ a listeners table to store information associated with registered database tables. Alter a database table changes, a trigger mechanism associated with the database change facilitates a search of the listeners table for a parameter associated with the changed database table. If the changed database table is registered, the information from the listeners table is provided to a delivery service which transmits a message indicating the registered database table changed. After receiving the message, a notification runtime service can route a notification to a client(s) registered to receive the notification. The foregoing mitigates performing time intensive queries and utilizing inconsistent query results.

Systems and methods for employing a trigger-based mechanism to detect a database table change and registering to receive notification of the change

Profiles hold cache settings externally from a requesting resource. The external cache settings stored within a profile may be associated with one or more resources. This allows the external cache settings for a group of resources to be managed from one location rather than having to change the internal cache settings for each resource. When a resource is processed by the server, the external cache settings are obtained from a cache profile and applied to the requesting resource. The external cache settings may also be merged with any internal resource settings. As a result of merging the settings some of the external cache settings and/or some of the internal cache settings may be overridden.

A server provides Web responses that can include content from data tables in a database. Systems, methods, and computer products for deriving custom cache dependencies are explained. A framework that includes an extensible cache dependency base class that can be used to derive custom cache dependency classes for invalidating cache entries on some custom condition is disclosed. In some embodiments, a Web page server includes a cache and the framework including the extensible cache dependency base. Methods are disclosed for causing a cache entry to be dependent on a customized cache dependency and for invalidating cache entries based on customized cache dependencies. For example, cache entries can depend on and be purged based on dependencies on database tables and Web services.
