An integrated circuit comprises random logic communicatively coupled to a non-scannable memory array. The integrated circuit also comprises a built-in self-test (BIST) controller adapted to apply test data to the random logic and propagate the test data through the random logic to test the memory array.

Process and system for developing dynamic circuit guidelines

A circuit and method characterizes a sense amplifier, such as the type utilized in computer memory systems. The sense amplifier characterization circuit comprises a sense amplifier having one or more inputs and an output, a BIT line connected to one of the one or more inputs of the sense amplifier, a register connected to the output of the sense amplifier; and control logic connected to the BIT line. Optionally, the register is further connected to the control logic, and the register is a scan register connectable to a tester. Preferably, the sense amplifier is a differential sense amplifier, and the circuit further comprises a complement BIT line connected to one of the one or more inputs of the sense amplifier. The method produces one or more signals like an output of a memory cell, operates one or more sense amplifier to produce one or more output states on the basis of the one or more signals, and records the one or more output states. Optionally, the method also records data related to the one or more signals. In one mode of operation, the method sets a voltage of the one or more signals like an output of a memory cell to be a static value during the operating step. In another mode of operation, the method sets a voltage of the one or more signals like an output of a memory cell to be alternating values during the operating step. The method further determines, on the basis of the one or more output states, whether the sense amplifier is acceptable, and if acceptable, the sense amplifier is utilized in a memory system.

Characterization of sense amplifiers

An apparatus for loading a scooter-type wheelchair or similar object into a vehicle comparment such that the apparatus and wheelchair loaded are fully contained within the vehicle when in a storage position. The apparatus includes a frame attachable to a lower surface of the vehicle compartment and a platform upon which the wheelchair may be rolled. During a loading cycle, the platform and wheelchair are raised upwardly, traversed toward the vehicle compartment and lowered into the compartment for storage. During this cycle, the platform passes through a vertical plane defining a maximum elevation. The platform includes wheel locators and positioning plates for locating the wheels of the wheelchair as it is positioned on the platform and for preventing the wheelchair from undesired movement once loaded. A vertical shaft is positioned adjacent a track portion of the platform. A horizontal shaft is pivotally attached to the vertical shaft, and a positioning plate for receiving a forward wheel of the wheelchair is pivotally attached to the horizontal shaft such that it has a tilted loading position and a substantially horizontal loaded position.

Wheelchair loading apparatus

A clamping mechanism for clamping an object to a structural member. The clamping mechanism is particularly adapted for clamping a wheelchair wheel to a loading rack of a wheelchair loader. The clamping mechanism comprises a mounting bracket used for attachment to the structure, such as the wheelchair loading rack, and has a pivot pin fixedly attached thereto. Pivotally mounted with respect to the pivot pin is a handle assembly including a hollow handle with a spring biased actuation plate positioned therein. An actuation button is attached to the plate. The pivot pin extends through a transverse hole in the handle and has a key portion which lockably engages a keyway in the actuation plate. By depressing the actuation button, the keyway in the plate is moved with respect to the key on the pivot pin to an unlocked position so that the handle assembly may be pivoted. A clamp assembly is pivotally attached to the mounting bracket and interconnected with the handle by a pair of links such that as the handle is pivoted between locked and unlocked positions, the clamp assembly is moved from a clamping position to an unclamped position. A resilient ring is disposed between a head portion of the pivot pin and the handle assembly to act as a friction clutch for preventing undesired movement of the handle assembly. A wheelchair loading rack utilizing the clamping mechanism is also disclosed.

Clamping mechanism

An apparatus for loading a wheelchair or similar object into a vehicle. When in a stored position, the apparatus and wheelchair are fully contained within said vehicle. A first embodiment illustrates use of the apparatus in a rear compartment of a station wagon, van or similar vehicle in which a pair of motor-driven drive links and a pair of drag links are utilized to lift and rotate a chair rack and wheelchair mounted thereon into said vehicle rear compartment. The drive and drag links connect the rack to a carriage which may then be rolled from a rearwardmost to a forwardmost position for final storage of the apparatus and chair in the vehicle. Latching means is provided to latch the carriage in either its forwardmost or rearwardmost positions. A remote control switch and limit switches are used to control power to the electric motor. A second embodiment of the apparatus is designed for use in the trunk of a typical passenger automobile. In this configuration, the chassis has an upper section defining tracks in which a carriage may roll and a lower section attached to the lower surface of the vehicle trunk. Collapsible support means is provided between the upper and lower sections such that the upper section may be lowered toward the lower section during a loading cycle. Crank and lever means are utilized so that, as the chair is lifted and rotated into the rear compartment, the carriage will be rolled from its rearwardmost to its forwardmost position concurrently with the lowering of the upper section. A latch is provided to prevent undesired movement of the carriage when in its rearwardmost loading or unloading position.

Apparatus for loading a wheelchair or similar object

An apparatus for loading a scooter-type wheelchair or similar object into a vehicle compartment such that the apparatus and wheelchair loaded thereon are fully contained within the vehicle when in a storage position. The apparatus includes a frame attachable to a lower surface of the vehicle compartment and a platform upon which the wheelchair may be rolled. A pair of upper links and a pair of lower links interconnect the frame and platform. A drive shaft interconnects the lower links, and the shaft may be rotated by an electric motor. Each upper link has a drive shaft which is connected to the first link drive shaft by a chain and sprocket assembly. Thus, as the motor rotates the lower link drive shaft, all links are rotated which raises the platform and wheelchair upwardly, traversing toward the vehicle compartment and lowering the platform and wheelchair into the compartment for storage. During this cycle, the platform passes through a vertical plane defining a maximum elevation. The platform includes wheel locators and positioning plates for locating the wheels of the wheelchair as it is positioned on the platform and for preventing the wheelchair from undesired movement once loaded.

A mixed gamma emitting gas standard in the form of a multiple isotope standard in a glass sphere which can be used to calibrate a gamma spectrometer system for gas counting in a wide energy range and without the need for any additional standards. Total and partial transfers of gas standard material to counting containers without leakage is enabled. The mixed gas standard is contained in a spherical vial equipped with ground glass stopcocks and a septum port in one tubular arm separated from the spherical vial by one stopcock. A gas transfer syringe, venting needle, assorted septa, and a length of hose are included with the spherical vial assembly to enable accurate volumetric transfers to several different gas counting geometries.

Mixed gamma emitting gas standard and method

Method of producing liquid equivalent solid gamma ray calibration standards comprising the steps of adding a first organic solvent to a calibrated aqueous solution of radioactive material, either in the form of a single isotope or mixed isotopes, to form a first solution; mixing the first solution with a polymerizible resin dissolved in a second organic solvent together with a hardening catalyst to form a second solution; and curing the second solution. With isotope standards requiring highly acidic conditions, a stabilizing agent is added to the first solvent to complex with metal and hydrogen ions so as to prevent plate-out.
