A unitary longitudinal wall attached structure of consistent profile for installation on a wall having an attachment portion which is securely affixed to the wall, an inherently flexible pivot or hinge portion whose upper end is attached to the attachment portion and whose lower end is attached to a rigid pivoting body whose center of mass is below and spaced outwardly from the wall relative to the hinge portion and gravity when preferably installed, where the wall is angled no more than 45 degrees and is secured to the larger structure within which the wall attached structure is to be installed, with said installation enabling an intra-structural pendulum where the secured attachment portion anchors the pendulum, and the inherently flexible hinge portion enables the pivoting body as it urges its lower contact surface against the wall.

Wall-attachment structure and system employing an intra-structural hinge for reinforcing preferred placement on a straight or curved wall

A molding system installed at or near the top of a vertical wall having a molding portion and an attachment portion, where the attachment portion is attached securely to the wall above at least the center of mass of the molding portion, and the molding portion has an outwardly visible decorative face which extends down to where the lower edge of the molding portion meets the wall. The attachment portion is enabled to flex as it is firmly attached to an imperfect wall, and the structure of the molding portion is such that the decorative face of the molding system remains preferentially straight and preferentially positioned as the molding system is installed on an irregular wall. A hinge-like flex is enabled along the length of the molding above the center of mass of the molding portion such that the decorative face of the molding can pivot like a pendulum ensuring the lower edge of the molding is placed against the wall. None of the methods of installation of this system violate the decorative face of the molding and a consistent decorative face profile extends around the entire installation.

System and method for installation of crown molding on imperfect walls

A molding system for use in interior spaces at or near the top of a vertical wall having a decorative surface and a vertical mounting surface including an attachment flange used for fastening the molding section to the wall, said molding section having a center of mass which is spaced outwardly from the wall surface, and whereby the point of attachment of said molding to the wall is located at a vertically higher position on the molding section than the center of mass so that when secured to a wall the lower end of the molding section is continually urged towards the wall surface and is therefore maintained in continual contact with the wall surface.

System and method for installation of decorative molding

A molding system for use in interior spaces for use either with new construction or finished spaces, and in addition can be used with either a suspended ceiling or conventional ceiling, whereby the molding is incorporated with the wall and ceiling surfaces in such a manner that the joints with the ceiling and wall are plumb and being mounted such that the decorative molding surface of the molding can be installed in a finished form that does not require further finishing after installation.
