The system comprises an enclosed centrifuge furnace with a first chamber, a second chamber and a third chamber all of which include and share a tilt axis. The third chamber is concentric with the first chamber and operable at a first temperature to melt a material within the first chamber. The second chamber is concentric with the first chamber and operable at a second temperature lower than the first temperature to cool the material within the first chamber. The system includes a first mechanism to rotate the first, second and third chambers, simultaneously, to create a centrifugal force to maintain the material within the third chamber as the centrifugal force is applied. The system includes a second mechanism to position the tilt axis at an angle which causes the melted material to pour from the third chamber into the second chamber where the material is cooled.

System and method for rapidly rotating and transferring molten material and powdered material from a first chamber to a second chamber in a micro-gravity environment

This is an adjustable basketball training device for a user's guide hand comprising upper arm, pivot, forearm, thumb, and finger components. The pivot component is pivotably connected to the upper arm component and rigidly coupled to the forearm component. The forearm component is rigidly coupled to both the thumb component using separate telescopic complexes, which allows the user to adjust the device for proper fit. The upper arm, forearm, thumb, and finger components are each secured to the user's upper arm, forearm, thumb, and at least one finger, respectively. As such, the basketball training device not only restricts flexion and opposition of the thumb but it restricts pronation of the user's forearm. In addition, the basketball training device restricts flexion, extension, radial deviation, and ulnar deviation of the user's wrist while allowing the user appropriate extension at the elbow joint during the entire shooting motion.

The embarrassment of passing gas in public is ubiquitous. One solution is to wear a filter underwear that is generally constructed with a single ply of underwear side panels that are separated by an activated carbon center panel. The activated carbon center panel is attached to an elastic waistband at the underwear back and where the activated carbon center panel traverses between two leg openings to the waistband at the underwear front. The center panel is constructed with a five-ply activated carbon fabric that is sandwiched between cotton fabric, which is sandwiched between bamboo fabric. The five-ply center panel is greater than 1 mm thick to provide filtering capabilities to sufficiently reduce the odor of flatulence to an acceptable level that is not readily detected by a person close by.

A method of determining flow speed in a low pressure environment. The method includes obtaining bi-directional acoustic data from a plurality of transducer pairs as a fluid moves relative to the plurality of transducer pairs. The method further includes measuring phase lags corresponding to the bi-directional acoustic data, and determining bi-directional flight times using the phase lags. Additionally, the method includes calculating a flow speed of the fluid corresponding to each transducer pair from the bi-directional flight times. The method includes correcting for at least one of temperature effects, pressure effects, and wake effects, using a system model. The method further includes generating a report including the flow speed of the fluid.

A parking enforcement system configured to impair the view of a driver through a windshield of a vehicle is provided. The parking enforcement system includes a plurality of covering assemblies. Each of the covering assemblies has one or more suction assemblies configured for placement against a windshield of a vehicle. A pump assembly is configured for pneumatic communication with the one or more suction assemblies. The pump assembly is configured to develop a partial vacuum between the suction assemblies and the windshield. A release assembly is configured for pneumatic communication with the one or more suction assemblies. The release assembly has a servo motor configured to actuate release of the suction assemblies from the windshield.

A method of coextruding polymeric materials into multiple layers of desired thickness to form a tubular workpiece. The method includes conveying a first polymeric material through a main extruder and a second polymeric material through a coextruder.
