A self-calibrating imaging display system includes a display comprising a screen and at least one photosensor associated with the screen and generating an output signal correlating to measurements for at least one region of the screen. The system further includes a display adaptor configured for, during a calibration routine, generating a display test pattern in the at least one region of the screen comprising at least one measurement field that comprises a number of pixels less than a total number of pixels of the screen and causing the at least one measurement field to be stepped through a sequence of increasing display driving level values. The system also includes a calibration module configured for, during the calibration routine, receiving the output signal, comparing the output signal to reference data, and generating at least one correction factor based on the comparing.

On demand calibration of imaging displays

A method of negotiating an electronic commerce (e-commerce) transaction for the sale of a selected good can include identifying an asking price for the selected good and retrieving from memory merchant business objectives (MBOs) and consumer privacy rules (CPRs). The steps additionally include applying the determined luminance and color correction factors to the different regions of the screen.

The present invention describes a method and system for creating and exposing order status within a supply chain of trading partners having disparate systems. A trading partner exchange (TPE) interfaces with each of the disparate systems and gathers information pertaining to a particular transaction. The information can be made available to an access platform through an access platform interface. Initially, a transaction is reported to the TPE where it is assigned a unique identifier. Subsequent activities pertaining to the transaction which are reported to the TPE by the trading partners can be linked to the unique identifier. A method for providing information to a receiver can include the step of receiving a request from a remotely located information requestor that specifics an information receiver: initiating a transaction to handle the request utilizing previously recorded information that can be specific to the information requestor or receiver to determine at least one adjustable condition used by the transaction: the transaction generating at least one result for the information receiver, which is tailored for information privileges granted to the information receiver by an information controller: conveying the result to the information receiver: receiving feedback concerning the result from the information requestor or receiver; adjusting one of the at least one adjustable condition in accordance with the feedback: changing the recorded information to include the adjusted condition; and using the adjusted condition in handling a subsequent request by the information requestor that specifies the information receiver.
