Renewable electrical energy is provided with aspects and circuitry that can harvest maximum power from an alternative electrical energy source () such as a string of solar panels () for a power grid (). Aspects include: i) controlling electrical power creation from photovoltaic DC-AC inverter (), ii) operating photovoltaic DC-AC inverter () at maximal efficiency even when MPP would not be, iii) protecting DC-AC inverter () so input can vary over a range of insolation and temperature, and iv) providing dynamically reactive capability to react and assure operation, to permit differing components, to achieve code compliant dynamically reactive photovoltaic power control circuitry (). With previously explained converters, inverter control circuitry () or photovoltaic power converter functionality control circuitry () configured as inverter sweet spot converter control circuitry () can achieve extraordinary efficiencies with substantially power isomorphic photovoltaic capability at 99.2% efficiency or even only wire transmission losses.

The inventive technology, in certain embodiments, may be generally described as a solar power generation system with a converter, which may potentially include two or more sub-converters, established intermediately of one or more strings of solar panels. Particular embodiments may involve sweet spot operation in order to achieve improvements in efficiency, and bucking of open circuit voltages by the converter in order that more panels may be placed on an individual string or substring, reducing the number of strings required for a given design, and achieving overall system and array manufacture savings.

The wound treatment apparatus combines an internal negative pressure (vacuum) pump and an internal positive pressure (compressor) pump connectable to an external oxygen supply for providing both negative pressure wound therapy and hyperbaric oxygen wound therapy to a wound site. Solar energy sources () and photovoltaic DC-DC power converters () may be interconnected in serial, parallel, or combined arrangements. DC photovoltaic power conversion may be accomplished utilizing dynamically adjustable voltage output limits () of photovoltaic DC-DC power converters (). A photovoltaic DC-DC power converter () may include at least one external state data interface () receptive to at least one external state parameter of a solar power system (). A dynamically adjustable voltage output limit control () may be used to relationally set a dynamically adjustable voltage output limit () of a photovoltaic DC-DC power converter (). Dynamically adjusting voltage output limits () may be done in relation to external state parameter information to achieve desired system results.

Dynamic methods and apparatus for adaptive operation of solar power systems

Apparatus and methods are disclosed which may keep retractable landscape lamps substantially free from water intrusion in operation for a variety of embodiments. Retractable lamps may have a lower fixed portion which could be buried in the ground and an upper portion which may rise and illuminate. When the upper portion rises it may create a low pressure or vacuum inside. Water may be pulled into the lamp which may lead to failure. The lamp may benefit from a seal between the lower and upper portions. A seal may consist of a flexible rubber material and a grease or other lubricant which may form a watertight seal with low friction. The upper portion may have a cap with provisions for aspiration. While traveling between the retracted and extended positions the lamp may aspirate through the bottom of this cap. The cap may be designed to trap an air reservoir when it retracts. It may then provide air for aspiration the next time the lamp rises to permit such a rise such as above wet conditions or above standing water. The cap may have a protective vent which may allow air to pass while restricting water from passing.
