A bow string release has a housing encasing a battery, circuit board, mechanical linkage, and a trigger to actuate the mechanical linkage. The trigger and circuit board operatively energize an electro-mechanical device such as a solenoid, which produces linear motion. A roller terminating the solenoid engages a pivotal drive cam to convert the linear motion into rotary motion. A follower link couples the pivotal drive cam to a string hook. Proper arrangement of the linkages ensures a slight over-center biasing of the linkages to securely hold a bow string, while also ensuring that only a minimal force generated by the solenoid will be required to release the string.

Bow string release

A gun preferably designed to rapidly fire paint balls includes a single valve assembly that is inserted into and removed from the gun body. The valve assembly includes a low pressure ram passing through a longitudinal center or core of the assembly, and is capable of being driven in opposite reciprocal directions. A volumizer stores a charge of high pressure gas sufficient to adequately propel a paint ball, and a high pressure poppet valve is driven by movement of the low pressure ram for releasing the charge rapidly. A bolt carried upon the low pressure ram moves a paint ball into firing position just prior to the high pressure discharge. All of the aforementioned components of the cartridge are carried upon a single axis defined by the ram. Means are provided to both align and couple the various components together to ensure proper operation at high firing rates.

Valve assembly for paintball guns and the like, and improved guns incorporating the assembly

Framing apparatus for the assembly of the body parts of a truck cab including a bottom panel, a back panel, and right and left side panels. A framing station has a base adapted to support the bottom panel. Side framers on opposite sides of the base are adapted to support the right and left side panels. The side framers are moved to positions adjacent to the base in which the lower edge portions of the side panels contact the side edge portions of the bottom panel so that they can be connected together. A rear framer is adapted to support the rear panel at the rear of the base. The rear framer is moved to a position adjacent to the base in which the lower edge portion of the rear panel contacts the rear edge portion of the bottom panel so that they can be connected together and the side edge portions of the rear panel contact the rear edge portions of the side panels so that they can be connected together. The several body parts are then permanently connected together utilizing suitable tooling.

Flexible framing apparatus

A framing system having upright stands on opposite sides of a vehicle body support. Welding fixtures are mounted on the stands having welding tools for performing welding operations on a vehicle body. The stands are supported for linear movement toward and away from an operative position adjacent the vehicle body support. Loaders are provided for transferring fixtures to and from the stands.
