An image recording sheet comprising a substrate having an imaging surface and an opposing surface, the opposing surface having coated thereon a feed facilitation layer comprising a copolymer formed from at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of bicyclic alkyl (meth) acrylates, aliphatic alkyl (meth)acrylates having from one to 12 carbon atoms, aromatic (meth)acrylates, and a polar monomer having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or methyl, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may be hydrogen, identical or differing alkyl groups having up to 8 carbon atoms, preferably up to 2 carbon atoms, or the quaternary cationic salts thereof, at least one long chain polymeric particle having good antifriction characteristics and optionally, an antistatic agent selected from the group consisting of cationic agents, anionic agents, fluorinated agents, and nonionic agents.

Water-based transparent image recording sheet for plain paper copiers

A water-based transparent image-receptive layer suitable for imaging in a thermal printer, and in electrophotographic or xerographic copiers, comprising a mixture of from about 5 parts to about 30 parts of at least one amino based silane coupling agent having the general formula: ##STR1## wherein Q is selected from the group consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary amino groups; R is selected from aliphatic and aromatic groups; R.sub.1 is selected from the group consisting of alkyl and aryl groups, and n is 1 or 2; from about 60 parts to about 80 parts of basic colloidal particles; from about 10 to about 29.9 parts of a water-dispersible polymeric binder, and from about 0.1 part to about 5 parts of an antiblocking agent.

A receptor sheet manifold for thermal mass transfer imaging comprising a polymeric image receptor sheet comprising a transparent film substrate having an image receptive layer coated on at least one surface thereof which comprises at least about 90% imaging polymer, from about 1% to about 5% perfluoroalkylsulfonamidopolyether antistatic agent, and from about 0.2% to about 5% silica particles, and attached thereto is an opaque backing sheet having a contact surface touching the attached receptor sheet, and an opposing surface having a coating comprising from about 75% to about 94% of a binder resin capable of adhering thereto, from about 1% to about 10% antistatic agent and from about 5% to about 15% of a particulate, such that the opposing surface has a Bekk smoothness of about 450 to about 550 Bekk seconds.

A receptor sheet for thermal mass transfer imaging comprising a polymeric image-receptive layer comprising a polymer having a melt transition onset no higehr than the melting point of a compatible doner sheet wax, and having a melt viscosity at the melt temperature of said donor sheet wax of at least 1.times.10.sup.4 poise.
