A method of mounting a gypsum wallboard in which the wallboard has a tear-resistant material partially adhered to the back face, with small slots in the material located at unadhered areas, through which small suspension clips are inserted. The clips include a hanger leg for hanging the clip on horizontal channels, which are part of the wall framing system.

Panels with laminated strips for clips

A notched metal channel having a small section of web removed and an adjacent short section of flange bent inwardly into the area of the removed section of web, and a hollow wall having such a notched channel forming part of the framing in the hollow of the wall, with elongate utilities in the wall extending substantially perpendicularly, relative to the channel, and extending between the channel notch and the adjacent wallboard forming the wall facing.

An assembly of elements for providing a mounting surface for wall furniture includes a bracket which is attached to a wall framing member, at least one horizontally extending, inwardly opening, horizontally adjustable channel mounted on the bracket and preferably a second vertically extending, inwardly opening, vertically adjustable channel mounted on the first channel, providing a mounting surface which is both horizontally and vertically adjustable, to accommodate wall furniture having mounting means which are not spaced to coincide with the spacing of the wall framing members.

A wall construction wherein a sheet of paper covered gypsum wallboard has at least one V-shaped groove formed part way through the thickness of the wallboard, and a sheet of rigid bendable sheet metal, conforming to one surface of the wallboard, along the groove area, is laminated to the wallboard whereby folding of the wallboard and sheet metal, along the groove, closing the groove, results in a folded section which remains firmly folded by reason of the folded rigid sheet metal laminate.

Wall construction

Formed sheet metal clips, affixed relative to a wall panel being mounted, support the panel on a central downwardly extending hump in the clip, which provides a pivot point permitting slight rotation of the vertically extending panel, for easy placement in exactly the desired vertical extent prior to affixing the panel in place, as by screws or adhesive. The clips may be affixed to the panel bottom or to a floor track and may additionally provide means for affixing a wall base trim.

Wall panel leveling support clip

A stand and method for disassembling structures, such as automobile radiators, by separation of first and second parts thereof that are joined by a meltable bonding medium such as solder. The disassembly stand is of a simple frame construction that is provided with an adjusting platform for raising, lowering, and supporting the structure to be separated and clamps for freely suspending the structure with its joint to be separated located so as to be acted upon by a room-shaped heating structure, according to a preferred embodiment. In accordance with an aspect of the method, opposed forces are caused to act upon the parts to be separated while the joint by which they are connected is simultaneously heated along substantially the entire length thereof.
