An arena apparatus for staging a sport is provided. The apparatus includes a floor having a perimeter; and at least one wall coupled to the floor at the perimeter and extending upwardly and outwardly from the floor at an angle relative to an axis perpendicular to the floor, wherein the angle of the wall prevents an athlete from standing on the wall.

An arena apparatus for staging a sport with at least one athlete is provided. The arena apparatus includes a floor having a perimeter; and at least one wall at the perimeter and extending upwardly and outwardly from the floor at an angle greater than or equal to fifteen degrees measured from an axis perpendicular to the floor, wherein the angle of the wall prevents the athlete from standing on the wall.

Arena apparatuses for staging a sport and methods of using and constructing same. The apparatus includes a floor and a wall, a bottom end of the wall located proximal to a floor perimeter, the wall extending upwardly and outwardly from the floor perimeter's vertical plane at an angle of greater than fifteen and less than sixty degrees. Methods and systems are provided for intra-airway breath sensors where intra-airway breath sensors are not located within a ventilation gas delivery circuit, but are exposed to spontaneous respiration airflow from a patient. Furthermore, methods and systems of the present invention may be used to protect an intra-airway breath sensor from contacting tissue or accumulating debris that may impair abilities of the intra-airway breath sensors.

Methods and devices for sensing respiration and providing ventilation therapy

Improved methods and devices are described for sensing the respiration pattern of a patient and controlling ventilator functions, particularly for use in an open ventilation system. A ventilation and breath sensing apparatus may include a ventilation gas delivery circuit and a ventilation tube coupled to the ventilation gas delivery circuit. A plurality of pressure sensing elements may be separated by a distance and may produce independent signals. The signals may be used to detect pressure differentials between the plurality of pressure sensing elements. Sensing ports may be located in an airway, and connected to transducers that are valved to optimize sensitivity and overpressure protection. Airway pressure and flow can both be obtained and used to optimize ventilator synchronization and therapy.

Methods and devices for sensing respiration and controlling ventilator functions

Improved methods and devices are described for sensing the respiration pattern of a patient and controlling ventilator functions, particularly for use in an open ventilation system. An apparatus for sensing respiration and synchronizing a ventilator to the respiration of a patient is described. The apparatus may include a plurality of thermal breath sensors. At least one of the plurality of thermal breath sensors may be a heated thermal breath sensor.

Modes, methods, systems and devices are described for providing assisted ventilation to a patient, including wearable ventilation systems with integral gas supplies, special gas supply features, ventilation catheters and access devices, and breath sensing techniques.

A composite tray and stacker structure for packages of a plurality of identical paperboard and/or plastic containers supported in a tray for the purpose of providing compressive load-bearing capability to the package. The composite tray and stacker is composed essentially of a single sheet of stiff material, such as corrugated paperboard. The structure includes a rectangular tray bottom wall having a central transverse reverse fold line and a pair of end walls connected to the bottom wall along fold lines. A pair of top wall spacer elements are foldably connected along the top edges of the end walls and a pair of weight-bearing abutable stacker elements are foldably connected to the spacer elements. A relatively narrow product retainer panel is connected to each of the side edges of each of the end walls and stacker elements along fold lines. Relatively narrow rectangular flaps of equal width are connected along fold lines to the side edges of the bottom tray and in most instances also to the side edges of the top wall spacer elements. Gluing tabs are provided at the ends of the stacker elements for attachment to the bottom tray. Notches are provided in the retainer panels on opposite sides of one of the stacker elements. In the assembled package the end walls and spacer elements lie in parallel spaced apart relation to support packages stacked one on another. The rectangular flaps engage the outer surfaces of the product retainer panels. The assembled package encloses a pair of mirror image cells or compartments for product containers and is readily divisible into half packages.

The proximal and distal parts of a golf club shaft that has been cut into two parts are pivotally interconnected to one another and are releasably lockable into any one of a plurality of different positions of angular adjustment by a device having a proximal end and a distal end that are interlockable to one another. The proximal end of the device includes a sleeve that nonreleasably receives the proximal end of the golf club shaft and the distal end of the device includes a sleeve that nonreleasably receives the distal end of the shaft. The device includes a middle part having a first face plate formed by the proximal end of the device and a second face plate formed by the distal end of the device. Radially disposed teeth formed in respective inner surfaces of the first and second face plates enable relative positioning of the face plates in multiple angular relations, and a projection formed on one of the face plates is received within a recess formed adjacent the other face plate and acts as a pointer that indicates a particular setting by pointing at an indicia imprinted adjacent the recess. Successive positions deloft the clubhead face and teach a user how to select irons and how to hold the hands and wrists when chipping and pitching.

The club has a hinge interposed on a shaft between the hand grip and club head, the hinge allowing the shaft to articulate about thirty degrees in both a front and back direction from the longitudinal axis of the shaft. The hinge has a female and male member. The female member is in the form of a yoke with a bore at the end of each yoke side arm. The male member has a body portion through which a bore passes and which is axially aligned with the bores of the yoke side arms. A pivot pin passes through these bores to provide the pivot point of the hinge. A U-shaped spring is attached to the female member interior to the yoke side arms. A ball bearing in a projecting nose of the male member rotates along the interior side arms of the spring. The ends of the female member side arms have pairs of oppositely directed ramps providing a stop along an outer shelf on each side of the male member body portion.

The structure includes a rectangular tray bottom wall, a pair of narrow side walls connected to opposite sides of the bottom wall along spaced apart fold lines and having fastening tabs for assembly, and a pair of end walls connected to the bottom wall along fold lines. A pair of spacer elements are foldably connected along the top edges of the end walls and a pair of weight-bearing stacker elements are foldably connected to the spacer elements. In the assembled package the end walls and spacer elements lie in parallel spaced apart relation to support packages stacked one on another.
