A reservoir refill system for an electronic vaping device includes a refill container and a reservoir. The refill container contains a pre-vapor formulation. The refill container includes a body, an opening in the body, and a first interlocking ring including at least one groove or at least one protrusion therein. The reservoir is configured to contain a pre-vapor formulation and includes a reservoir body, an opening in the reservoir body, and a second interlocking ring including at least one groove or at least one protrusion therein at an opening of the reservoir. The first interlocking ring is configured to mate with the second interlocking ring so as to release the pre-vapor formulation from the refill container to the reservoir.

The connector is configured to couple a first section and a second section of an e-vaping device. The connector includes a flange with a first end and a second end, a shaft with sidewalls extending from the first end of the flange, and a cylindrical base extending from the second end of the flange. The connector defines a longitudinal opening extending from the shaft through the cylindrical base, the sidewalls and the flange collectively defining at least one first channel in fluid communication with the longitudinal opening. A cartomizer of an electronic cigarette is configured to couple to a power source thereof that provides power for the electronic cigarette. The cartomizer comprises an insulated heating chamber that includes a controlled valve, a heating element, and an e-Liquid portion. The controlled valve can supply e-Liquid from the e-Liquid portion to the insulated heating chamber, wherein the e-Liquid is heated within the insulated heating chamber by the heating element to produce an aerosol. The insulated heating chamber reduces heat dissipation to the remainder of the cartomizer.

A distal portion of the major body being configured to attach to the first section of the e-vaping device and the proximal portion of the major body being configured to attach to the second section of the e-vaping device in order to define an airflow path that enters the longitudinal channel through the at least one first aperture and flows through the proximal portion of the major body.
