The invention relates to a toothbrush (20) with a brush head which can be secured on a brush handle (24) by a bayonet catch (26). The bayonet catch comprises a locking pin (28) which is mounted in the front end of the brush handle (24) in such a way that it can be displaced axially to a limited extent but is non-rotatable and which is subject to the action of a prestressing device (50). The brush head (22) is provided with a recess (102) which has a locking groove pursuant to which the brush head (22) is mounted on the locking pin (28) by engagement of a bayonet stud (32) in the locking groove (106), the locking pin (28) being pulled out of the brush handle (24) counter to the prestressing device (50) until the bayonet stud (32) locks into a lock-in portion (114) of the locking groove. Since the locking groove is arranged in the bristle bed (100) of the brush head (22), a minimum use of material for the brush head, which is disposable after wearing out, is guaranteed and the brush head is reliably secured on the brush handle.

A digital tampon (20) for feminine hygiene, having a round dome (33) and a recovery tape (24), consists of a blank which is shaped by winding up a length of continuous random fibre web and which is pressed to produce a preform having a fibre core, longitudinal ribs and longitudinal grooves. The longitudinal ribs are pressed weakly to the final shape of the tampon (20; 28). The preform, before being pressed to the final shape of the tampon (20), is shaped as a result of the separate, but simultaneous radial pressing of directly adjacent sectors of its entire circumferential surface to form a longitudinal groove and a longitudinal rib respectively on each sector of the circumferential surface. The longitudinal groove and longitudinal rib assigned to each sector of the circumferential surface (182) are arranged respectively in succession in the same order in the circumferential direction of the preform. The fibre material is pressed radially to a lesser extent in the region of the end (22) provided with the recovery tape (24). Process for producing a tampon having densified, solid, fibrous core

A toothbrush includes a brush part and a hollow handle part exhibiting an axial bearing, a coupling rod, which is slidably mounted in the axial bearing and which is connected to the brush part, a return spring, which is pretensioned on the coupling rod in the direction of the handle part opposite the brush part, and a latching device for rotationally locking the coupling end of the brush part and the coupling end of the handle part. A securing device serves to prevent axial motion of the coupling rod. A first part of the securing device is associated with the coupling rod and a second part of the securing device is associated with the handle part. The second part of the securing device is movable between a securement setting and a release setting and is pretensioned by a spring in the direction of the securement setting. An actuating device in the wall of the handle part serves to actuate the second part of the securing device. An axial motion of the brush part relative to the handle part, for releasing the rotationally secure connection of the two parts, is therefore reliably prevented.

The invention relates to a toothbrush (10), the brushneck (12) of which, connected to an exchangeable brushhead, is deflectably held, in a reversible, resilient manner, on a hollow handle (14) by a swivel joint (18) surrounded by a sealing element (16). The brushneck (12) is provided at its coupling end (20) facing the handle (14) with an articulated head (22). The handle exhibits at its coupling end (24) facing the brushneck (12) an articulated fork (26), between whose fork legs (28, 30) an articulated head (22) of the brushneck (12) is fitted-in and connected by a swivel axle (32). The sealing element (16) consists of a pressure-elastic material. The articulated fork (26) is itself of tension-elastic configuration, so that the sealing element (16) is held by the articulated fork (26) under elastic pre-tension between the mutually opposite coupling ends (20, 24) of the handle (14) and of the brushneck (12). The toothbrush can be economically manufactured using a least possible number of single parts and enables a deflection movement, which is elastically damped by the sealing element and by the elastically configured articulated fork, which deflection movement is limited by the articulated head.

The invention relates to a toothbrush (20), the brush head (22) of which can be removed from a brush handle (24). A threaded pin (26) can be moved to a limited extent out of the brush handle (24), counter to the action of a prestressing spring (32), when the brush head (22) is screwed onto the pin, until a stop catch (36) of the brush head (22) engages in a recess (38) of the brush handle (24) and locks the brush head in the rotational direction, while the prestressing spring (32) holds the brush head (22) under prestress against the brush handle (24). A firm connection can thus be established simply and rapidly between the brush handle and the brush head, irrespective of the shape of these parts.

Brushhead magazine for receiving a number of brushheads (22), comprising a plurality of containers, which lie parallel alongside one another in mutual separation, in each case fully enclose a brushhead (22) and the height of which is dimensioned to correspond approximately to the width of a brush base (26) of each brushhead (22), a coupling end of the brushheads (22) in each case facing towards the container opening (30). A wall exhibits, in the area of each container opening (30), a closing flap (32) made from dimensionally stable material, which closing flap is defined by a target rupture line (36) and a hinge (40), formed by an attenuation line (38). The closing flap (32), as its target rupture line (36) is destroyed, can be pivoted by means of the coupling end of a brush handle about the hinge (40) into an open position in the interior of the assigned container. In each container there is disposed a locking device, by means of which the closing flap (32) can be locked in its open position. The magazine offers an aesthetically appealing appearance, even once the closing flaps (32) are opened, and is economical to produce and convenient to handle.

In the case of a holder for a toothbrush, which holder comprises a plate (1) to be attached to a wall and a holding element (7) extending, in the usage position, perpendicular to the plate, the plate (1) and the holding element (7) are pivotably connected to each other and there is provided, moreover, on the plate (1), a suspension device (3), in which a magazine (10) containing accessories for the toothbrush can be suspended. When the holding element (7) is pivoted out of the open position into the usage position, the holding element (7) grips over the suspension device (3) in such a way that the magazine (10) is protected against unintended detachment from the holder.

In order that bar-shaped cutters can be ground as accurately as possible, it is essential that the bar-shaped cutters are clamped as close as possible to the surfaces which are to be ground. For this purpose, each bar-shaped cutter is pressed against two stop faces or surfaces by means of two claws of a clamping lever, and the one claw which is closer to the surface to be ground is structured to be more elastic or resilient than the other claw. Particularly, the claw closer to the surface which is to be ground is more intensely pressed or forced against the bar-shaped cutter than the other claw.
