A lighting control system includes a plurality of luminaires each having a selectively powerable first light source and a selectively powerable second light source. The luminaires are powerable and controllable by a common AC power source. A signal receiving controller of each of the luminaires is electrically connected to the first light source and the second light source and selectively causes power to be routed to either the first light source or the second light source dependent on a control signal sent via the AC power source.

A luminaire includes a primary HID light source housing having at least one selectively powerable HID lamp and an LED arm assembly having a secondary LED light source. In some embodiments the LED arm assembly may extend between a support structure and the HID light source housing and in other embodiments the LED arm assembly may be a stand alone assembly and extend from a support structure remote from the HID light source housing. The HID lamp may be powered during user selected peak hours and the LED light source may be powered during user selected non-peak hours.

The present invention relates to a round garage light assembly having a housing with a lamp mounting surface wherein a main HID lamp and an auxiliary circular high output fluorescent lamp are mounted. The auxiliary lamp is mounted centrally within the assembly and above the photometric center of the high intensity discharge lamp so that the light pattern emitted from the auxiliary lamp is symmetrical and the auxiliary lamp does not shadow the light emitted from the HID lamp.

The present invention relates to a garage light assembly having a housing with a lamp mounting surface wherein a main high intensity discharge lamp and an auxiliary circular high output fluorescent lamp are mounted. The auxiliary lamp is mounted centrally within the assembly and above the light emitting portion of the high intensity discharge lamp so that the light pattern emitted from the auxiliary lamp is symmetrical and the auxiliary lamp does not shadow the light emitted from the high intensity discharge lamp.

An arena light reflecting assembly includes an asymmetric parabolic shaped reflector having an exit aperture. The reflector surrounds a horizontally extending high intensity light source and has a focal axis that lies along an axis of an arc tube of the light source so that the reflector acts as a collimator redirecting light from the light source into essentially parallel rays from the exit aperture. A pan circumscribes the exit aperture and a louver assembly is disposed within the exit aperture behind a front surface of the pan.

The present invention provides an adjustment mechanism by which a luminaire may be adjusted and secured along an arcuate path. The adjustment mechanism includes a mounting bracket, adjustment bolt, adjustment brace, which is attached to the optical housing of the luminaire, and a positioning means, such as an eyebolt. The adjustment bolt is threadably attached to the adjustment brace via a non-rotatable nut. The adjustment bolt, which is disposed through the positioning means, is turned in order to adjust the position of the luminaire. As the adjustment bolt turns, the non-rotatable nut, along with the adjustment brace and optical housing attached thereto, moves along the threaded shaft of the bolt. When the turning of the bolt has ceased, the non-rotatable nut, adjustment brace and optical housing are secured in position by the frictional engagement of the thread of the bolt and the thread of the nut.

A light fixture comprising a rotatable housing, a mounting yoke and a mounting fixture for securing the housing directly to the top of a hollow post to permit the housing to be directed straight down or at a tilt angle to either side. The housing includes integral or insertable axle portions that protrude from either side of the housing. The top of each side of the yoke includes a support casting with an opening for receiving the respective protruding axle portions of the housing. Matching indicia on the end of at least one of the axle portions and the receiving casting hub provide degree of tilt information. Wiring from the power source coming out of the top of the post progresses through one or more appropriate channels in the yoke, through the appropriate casting and through an accommodated protruding axle portion. The yoke is preferably comprised of at least one tubular member. The mounting fixture in the form of matching top and base plates mounts the center brace portion of the yoke to the top of the post.
