A geothermal heat exchange apparatus is disclosed that includes a central conduit, a plurality of pipes, at least one fitting and a joint. The geothermal heat exchange apparatus is preassembled for insertion into a bore hole and for connection to a supply primary pipe and a return primary pipe that are in fluid communication with a heat pump. The geothermal heat exchange apparatus includes the plurality of pipes in a helical arrangement around the central conduit for geothermal heat exchange. The at least one fitting is fixedly connected to a first end portion of the central conduit in the bore hole.

A geothermal heat exchange apparatus which is a flexible assembly of a plurality of pipes twisted on a central conduit. The central conduit has a tubular structure. The plurality of pipes is twisted around the central conduit. The plurality of pipes is connects to an external environmental conditioning apparatus that supplies a heat exchange liquid for the transfer of heat through the plurality of pipes. The geothermal heat exchange apparatus is adapted for positioning in a hole in the earth for the exchange of heat.

The present invention relates to a conduit for use in a geothermal heating and cooling system wherein said conduit comprises 2 or more pipes, wherein said 2 or more pipes are twisted together, wherein further that said 2 or more twisted pipes are twisted around a central pipe, further provided that the functions of said central pipe include, but are not limited to, serving as a conduit for a tremie pipe, serving as a support pipe, serving as an insulating pipe or serving as a tremie pipe.

Systems and methods of processing financial transaction information are provided. In one embodiment, a financial institution runs an index generating software program to generate a downloadable index of images of cleared checks. The account customer uses complementary software to remotely download, search, and display the index of cleared check images, together with the images themselves. In another embodiment, the financial institution periodically runs a software program to generate digital archives of the cleared check images for the account customer. The account customer is provided with secure online access to the digital archives. The account customer may use standard financial bookkeeping software to download and display the cleared check images and associate the cleared check images with transactions in the associated account registers.

A method for manufacturing end products such as wound dressings, surgical dressing, fixation wafers for prostheses, ostomy wafers, shoe inner-soles, and other laminated and contoured devices using a contouring and laminating station, a delaminating station, a driving station and a cutting station. A first outer layer having a backing film protected by a support layer is attached to a subject layer having predetermined malleable properties on one surface of the adhesive material. A second outer layer is attached on an opposing surface of the subject layer. As the layers are attached, the subject layer is contoured at the contouring and laminating station to produce a first intermediate product. The support layer is removed to produce a second intermediate product at a delaminating station. The second intermediate product is driven by the driving station to the cutting station to be cut into the end products.

Method for manufacturing contoured and laminated materials

An improved baghouse which is adapted to remove particulate matter from an air flow. The baghouse has three main chambers being the plenum, the receiving chamber, and a hopper. The three chambers are separated from each other using tubesheets having multiple holes therein. Filtering bags are connected to the upper and lower tubesheets. Attachment of the bag to the upper tubesheet is accomplished using a thimble that is preferably assembled with the bag and then delivered to the site ready for easy insertion into the hole of the tubesheet. A strap to sandwich the bag to the upper thimble. At the lower end, there are attached thimbles on the tubesheet and the bags are secured to those thimbles using clamps. Through the use of beads on the thimbles and bags, shaped clamps and straps, the bag is secured to both thimbles such that slippage and leakage are eliminated; further the shaped bottom clamps prevent relative motion between the bag and the top of the bottom thimble so that excess bag wear is avoided.

An insulated cooler for carrying perishables and cooling medium such as ice is improved to provide an extended period during which low temperatures are maintained. A sheet of flexible, synthetic insulation material is placed over the perishables and cooling medium. The sheet is pressed downwardly against the perishables and cooling medium, thus substantially conforming to the upper surface thereof. A dead space may be defined above the sheet and below the cover of the cooler. Preferably, the insulation material is air entrained polypropylene, which could be washed, is sufficiently flexible, and can be trimmed to fit the cooler. The insulation material is preferably folded into at least three thicknesses and trimmed to conform to either the footprint of the insulated cavity, or to an enlarged size, so that the outer edges of the material can be tucked down and about the perishables in the cooler.

A high frequency ventilator which generates a high frequency pressure wave in a supply of ventilating gas for supporting ventilation in air breathing animals. The high frequency pressure wave causes the ventilating gas to be exchanged and to diffuse through the animal's lungs fast enough to support ventilation without spontaneous breathing on the part of the animal and without the aid of a separate ventilator.

High frequency ventilator and method

A high frequency oscillating ventilator. A flow of gas is conducted from a gas source to a high frequency oscillator. The high frequency oscillator comprises a housing including a magnet and having a diaphragmetically sealed piston mounted therein, an inlet connecting the space within the housing on the first side of the diaphragm to the gas conducting means, and a coil mounted to the first side of the diaphragm. Circuitry is provided which is operable to reverse the polarity of the flow of the current in the coil, thereby causing the diaphragm to move back and forth within the housing. A tube connecting the space on the second side of the diaphragm to the gas source and the patient's airway is provided. Also disclosed is a method of ventilating a patient with the high frequency oscillating ventilator, and a double lumen endotracheal tube for use in connection therewith.

High frequency ventilation

A method of ventilating an air breathing animal at a high frequency. A flow of gas is supplied to the first side of a piston mounted within a housing while the flow of gas out of the housing is restricted to elevate the pressure on the first side of the piston. A flow of gas is also supplied to the second side of the piston, which is connected to an air breathing animal, while the piston is alternately moved back and forth within the housing at a selected frequency, amplitude and period, thereby alternately forcing gas into and drawing gas out of the animal. The flow of gas out of the animal is also restricted to elevate the pressure on the second side of the piston. The flow of gas to the first side of the piston both cools the piston and housing and helps to equalize the pressures on both sides of the piston, helping to insure accurate conversion of the mechanical movement of the piston into a pressure wave in the gas on the second side of the piston.
