Real-time evaluation and enhancement of image quality prior to capturing an image of a document on a mobile device is provided. An image capture process is initiated on a mobile device during which a user of the mobile device prepares to capture the image of the document, utilizing hardware and software on the mobile device to measure and achieve optimal parameters for image capture. Feedback may be provided to a user of the mobile device to instruct the user on how to manually optimize certain parameters relating to image quality, such as the angle, motion and distance of the mobile device from the document. When the optimal parameters for image capture of the document are achieved, at least one image of the document is automatically captured by the mobile device.

Systems and methods for automatic image capture on a mobile device

A method for processing investment transactions includes receiving investor information regarding each of a plurality of investors. The investor information may include, an identity, a minimum investment per unique investment and a minimum number of required unique investments. Each of the plurality of investors may be signatory to a respective general partnership agreement that share a common general partner. Some of the investor information may be derived from the terms of the general partnership agreement. The method may also include notifying the plurality of investors of a future unique investment opportunity. In accordance with a particular embodiment, for each particular investor of the plurality of investors, it is determined whether the particular investor will participate in the future unique investment.

System and method for processing investment transactions

Systems and methods for applying for and creating balance transfers with a mobile device are provided. An image of a customer's financial statement can be taken using a mobile device, after which the image is analyzed to extract information relevant to creating a balance transfer. The extracted information is then communicated to a bank over a network connected with the mobile device, where the bank can process the information and create an offer to the customer for a balance transfer in real-time. An example financial statement is a credit card statement. These systems and methods may comprise capturing an image of a document using a mobile communication device; transmitting the image to a server; detecting relevant information within the image; transmitting the information to a bank; and transmitting a resulting balance transfer offer from the bank to the mobile device.

Systems and methods for obtaining financial offers using mobile image capture

A device for intercepting droplets produced by ceiling-engaging sponges, rollers and the like is described. This portable drop cloth has a light weight framework which supports either a flat plastic sheet or a plastic bag, whichever is preferred for specific applications. The framework is attached to a collar-like member so that the unit may be positioned at a desired location along a handle of the ceiling-engaging element. In some embodiments the size of the frame, and its angular position with respect to the handle to which it is attached, may be adjusted.
