A motor vehicle door lock includes a locking mechanism having a rotary latch, a pawl, and an actuating lever mechanism having at least one coupling lever rotatable about an axis and a mass inertia element rotatable about an additional axis spaced apart from the axis of the coupling lever to guide the coupling lever, at least in the event of an accident. The coupling lever in its 'engaged' position connects the actuating lever mechanism mechanically with the locking mechanism and in its 'disengaged' position ensures that the actuating lever mechanism is locked and/or separated from the locking mechanism. A drive arrangement for motorized adjustment of an actuating element, rotatably mounted inside a motor vehicle door latch housing. The drive arrangement comprises a motor and a spindle drive connected to the motor, the spindle drive containing a spindle and a spindle nut mounted thereon. The spindle is coaxially driven by a driven shaft of the motor. The spindle nut acts on the actuating element in order to rotate it by at least one interposed coupling element. The spindle nut and the coupling element form a single unit.

Drive arrangement for motorized adjustment of an actuating element rotatably mounted in a motor vehicle door latch housing

The invention relates to a latch for a door or flap of a motor vehicle with a locking mechanism comprising a catch (), a primary pawl () for ratcheting with the catch () in a main ratchet position and a separate secondary pawl () for ratcheting with the catch () in a pre-ratchet position, whereby only in the case of overload can the secondary pawl () additionally ratchet to the primary pawl () with the catch () in the main ratchet position. The invention furthermore relates to a latch for a door or a flap of a motor vehicle with a locking mechanism comprising a catch () with a load arm () and a catching arm () a primary pawl () to ratchet with the load arm () of the catch () in a main ratchet position and a separate secondary pawl () to ratchet with the catching arm () of the catch () in a pre-ratchet position, whereby the catch (), the primary pawl () and the secondary pawl () are arranged on the same plane. A reduction of the complexity, e.g. an automatic closure aid and increased stability, i.e. the tensile strength are enabled simultaneously.

A lock with a locking mechanism includes a rotary catch and a pawl for engaging the rotary catch, and a releasing lever for opening or releasing the locking mechanism. The lock may include a blocking lever capable of blocking the pawl if the latter is located in its catching position. If the releasing lever is actuated, the pawl or the blocking lever is thereby moved out of its blocking position if the releasing lever is not excessively accelerated. If excessively large accelerations of the releasing lever occur, as can be caused by a crash, then an arresting device of the lock prevents the releasing lever from being able to move the pawl or the blocking lever out of its blocking or latching position, respectively. The lock is therefore incapable of opening if the releasing lever is accelerated in the event of a crash.

A two way electrical connector for an automotive vehicle includes a terminal insulator having at least one passage to receive at least one box terminal staked wire, a wedge member cooperating with the terminal insulator to retain the at least one box terminal staked wire in the at least one passage and a connector position assurance member cooperating with the terminal insulator to detect and indicate an unmated condition of the terminal insulator to a mating connector.
