A vehicle roof, comprising an opening roof panel, which can be moved from a first, closed roof position into a second, fully opened roof position, the roof panel being held essentially parallel to the rest of the vehicle roof and at a distance from the rest of the vehicle roof in the second roof position; a lateral guide, the roof panel being guided at least during a part of an opening movement on the guide; a third, partially opened roof position in which the roof panel is held in a position that is essentially inclined with respect to the rest of the vehicle roof, rising counter to the direction of travel; and an elevating means for elevating a front edge area of the roof panel.

The invention relates to a main bearing unit for a convertible folding top, comprising a bearing plate, at least one kinematic pivot point of a folding-top linkage of the convertible folding top, which kinematic pivot point is mounted pivotably in the bearing plate, a linear force-introducing unit, a pin which is assigned to the folding-top linkage, wherein the linear force-introducing unit, in order to actuate the folding-top linkage, is in driving connection with the pin assigned to the folding-top linkage, and a hole in the bearing plate, wherein the force-introducing unit is held in the hole in the bearing plate and is integrated in the bearing plate.

The invention relates to a device for actuating a lifting and sliding roof with a cover (,) which is joined to a cover rocker arm (,) which has at least one guideway (,A;,B) and into which a raising mechanism for lifting the rear edge (,B) of the cover fits, and which can be displaced by means of a rack/pinion connection to the rear over the fixed roof (,) of a motor vehicle. For stabile, rattle-free guidance of the cover (,), the raising mechanism is provided with a raising lever (,), one end of which is supported with a pivot axle (,) to pivot on a roof-mounted part (,) and on its other end there are two guide elements (,A,,B) which are at different distances from the pivot axle (,) and which each fit into a guideway (,A,,B) of the cover rocker arm (,), the guideways being of different slopes.

Device for actuating a lifting and sliding roof

The invention relates to a motor vehicle roof with cover elements which are joined on each of their narrow sides to a pivotable attachment element which is guided along a guideway attached to the roof. Adjacent attachment elements are coupled for joint movement in the opening and closing direction so long as neither is in a fully swung-out position, and are decoupled, one by one as each of the adjacent attachment elements reaches its fully swung-out position. In the decoupled state, the adjacent attachment elements can be moved against one another as they are fully swung-out. An attachment element in the fully swung-out position is locked securely on the roof under the influence of the opening motion of an adjacent attachment element by a respective pivotable locking element, and is automatically released under the influence of the closing motion of the other adjacent attachment elements.
